I've never done that before either. But here's what I would think: connect your drum set to your computer to record your playing. Then film it using a cam, and use a video editor to remove the cam's recorded sound. Now you paste your recorded drum playing in the video editor and also throw in a backing track.

i have a TD3 my self but the bass drum is to soft i have to set my amplifier at the highest position to hear it and when the hi-hat goes open its a fake sound but its a nice beginners set i just mixed it with my acoustic Kit

an acoustic kit needs constant and good tuning! and only a good sound engineer can make a acoustic kit sound good! electric kits sound awesome constantly and dont need the boring upkeep of tuning or the expense!

they feel different to play, and you can get a wider range of sound from an acoustic set. But as far as electronic kits go, they are a good way to learn i think, and make it easier for you to sound good.

You can in fact sound much better on an acoustic set, but you have to be much better to do so.
