Haven't you heard it said that performance in interviews is not a good marker of how intelligent a person is? Some of the smartest people in the world are terrible in interviews. That's a well-known fact.

Moreover, "um" and "ah" are techniques many people use to give themselves time to think about their responses. These are marks of intelligent responders. Didn't you know that?

Well, I think your logic is flawed. If I listened to only half of what the media says about the twins, I wouldn't like them. The media distorts and exaggerates all the time. Therefore I like them BECAUSE I know that a lot of what the media puts out is false. Therefore what you said here doesn't seem to make sense.

As I said it's a well-known fact that performance in interviews is not a good indicator of intelligence. BUT, WRITTEN communication IS a good marker of intelligence.
