sure would have liked you to go thru the entire system showing the gas generator i mean its great to see the heater but cmon now show us how it all works. HElp people
lucky i built a bigger setup lmao... ( hydrogen is much hotter than you know and its reflected heat is amazing ) the cell that ran this heater also runs the bbq ...
How long can you run this before you melt your nozzle even at 2 amps.? Have you thought about adding steel wool inside to make it a Catalytic burn.? I believe this would be the key to success here... Also ,why not try it with chemical Hydrogen production?
it wont melt the nozzle , the steel wool buffer isnt needed (hydrogen wont burn with out oxygen (so its much safer that we are lead to believe , (if your making hho thats diffrent then yes a steel wool back flash is needed, have already played with the chemical system ... (one can not control the gas production , compaired with this system .. i switch it on gas is there 20 Ltr per min at 10 amps .. turn the power off ( it stops) .
Hi , the reaction in the saltwater stops the production on the nox , this after effect incresses the hydrogen production (expect 98% pure h gas) ,due to the slight chemical reaction and with the help of (thermal energy =sun power solar heat)
a collection system (tank) can supply a storage of this near free energy (the aluminium oxide in the water stock (by-product)can be used in thermite = rocket fuel .. salt turns into ??? sodium hydox.... and reacts with ??? add magnesium plates = power out
Very interesting, I tried similar setup, my conclusion was it made NOX , also known as oxides of nitrogen. when used without venting in a closed room is dangerous. first you laugh and feel giddy. then I got dizzy and almost passed out after about 5 minutes use with single burner. Please be careful.
no sweet smell of nox shes h gas only .. plasma reactor (bingo)its nasty , as it produces carbon monoxide with its hydrogen .. ya i got sick on that system for a day .. but thanks i will be carefull
its production is shown in the waffer three video, its h gas only the oxygen reacts and releases more gas , so i get no oxygen from this (if you going for a conversion of an old lpg or cng (keep the cng regulator, its runing at about 2 psi from the piolet and make a main burner using pipe and drill 4-6 holes at .5 mm drill bit, as a main jet (you cant use the old setup jet ,the flame will just pop and go out (wrong mixer), (need to look at adding a smell to the gas) thanks for the interest
more people need to work on these on the fly hydrogen systems for heating purposes because heat is what we need with all that climate change and extreme cold something to run off solar panels
Are you generating the hydrogen from an electrolysis cell? If so how do you seperate the Oxygen from the Hydrogen? Ive often thought a high voltage electrostatic charge would work best as hydrogen is attracted to a negative charge or maybe a membraine between + & - plates in cell to seperate gas as it forms on plates.
Hi Chris ..i have had a play making membranes (more to converting the h and o back to electrical power from seperated and charged h and o ) another video
Very nicely done. It seems as though hydrogen could easily be used in a furnace with no need for exhaust (near 100% efficiency). I wonder if it burns too hot (compared to regular "natural gas") to be used in an unmodified home furnace.
thankyou ...there is the problem of water vapour from this system (like lpg heaters etc) so having it flued outside would fix this (exhaust), modified jets would be needed with my setup (you dont want to have an air and hydrogen mixer like standed lpg bbqs and lpg heaters ..just a hydrogen outlet regulator (1 bar)to jet/s and igniter
Since there is lack of poison gas, asphyxiates, (etc) as byproducts, and if you disregard excess water vapor as a problem, this thing basically has near-perfect efficiency without being harmful.
Regarding water removal: is there a way to remove water from air without changing air temperature? Obviously-unacceptable methods would be "condenser" (typical dehumidifier) or "phase change" (ala air compressors).
My goal is to avoid exhausting the steam from combustion--to preserve its precious heat.

theoneagain,
There's not a damn thing you can do about climate change.

Ok then, so what type of nozzle are you using then, and why is this not producing any poisonous NOX fumes..?
I was under the firm belief that to make an efficient HHO Burner, it had to be Catalytic..

Fantastic ! What method did you use to separate the H and O ?
Thanks
