I own 2 copies of this cassette and play it quite often. I have played it so much that I am looking for it on LP and CD. Love it . Very good like studio versions played live. Very good concert from Italia!
Figuras de uns figuraças a um som irresistivelmente viajante.Ainda sobre as imagens= um pouco da historia quase cinquentenaria de uma essencial banda de rock.
This was the only good tune on this disc the syncapation is incredible.Simply musical work of genious.Pictures are not needed to get through this piece!
Spectacular post. Never really got into HH when it was released but always loved the live version of this. HH is rapidly becoming my favorite Tull album. Thanks for the post!
@ipykipyk heavey horses was one of my favorite songs and jethro toll albums. i have not heard it for twenty years because it was not sold in the music stores where i live. it is a briant master peace, a timeless clasic work of art.
But seriously, This is a nice song, but it doesn't fit too much in Heavy Horses. I recall the best ones from this album are Moths, Heavy Horses, Rover, and Weathercock, if I had to choose four. Too bad And the mouse police never sleeps isn't in those, it's my next favourite.
Geez, I guess we're all gonna have to get used to being denied a damn lullaby, huh? First Ian, now Aqua! LOL!!!
I'm continually astonished by your genius for discovering photos that've previously escaped my notice, and this was no exception. And I liked the way you mixed pics from the "Songs From The Wood", "Heavy Horses", "Stormwatch" & "Broadsword" tours, since I feel that those albums have a strong relationship with each other.
Excellent song choice, too. A fine video all around!
This was the last complicated heavy track done by 70s Tull. GREAT SOLO MARTIN! (Dark Ages from Stormwatch had lots of different parts, but not the time signatures and changes like this one.) In recent years, Ian has gone back to some top form in music writing (Secret Language of Birds), but Tull will never equal what they were in the 70s. And they were never the same after Barrie left. No Lullaby was what it was because of Barrie.
I heard the Bursting Out version first. Later when I bought Heavy Horses, I saw the studio version was about three minutes longer than the live version and wondered what they cut out. Big disappointment -- they just repeated the song over again in the studio version. I prefer the live version since it has that snappy intro too.
A sort of joke with the uploader Aqualung71. Before the UK punk "explosion", although I was really quite young I was always struggling to find good music. My sister had a copy of "Living In The Past" that I liked a lot of. But even at the age of 10 the likes of ELP made me want to throw up. So once punk arrived it was a case of "Some decent f*cking music at last !", and "post-punk" was even better. I still like "Living In The Past", but I'm not keen on Jethro Tull's later stuff.
It was a comment to the channel "owner" Aqualung 71. I'm not keen on Tull's later stuff (I was a punk rocker Oi! ), but really like some of his earlier stuff, most of which is on "Living In The Past". Jethro Tull and Ian Anderson were the very small amount of prog. rockers who were left alone by punks (hippy baiting !) because they didn't winge about punk, and took it all with a pinch of salt and a laugh. Whereas as for ELP...

I wanna do like a music video with scenes from "The Lovely Bones" set to this. I think it would fit perfectly.
