greeting from 1684 . . we used this as a wishing well back in our days. i used to wish the alien would come back to visit me in my bed but he never did .
I think a crew dug upwards by getting rid of the dirt out from the side shafts because the water levels weren't as high then and the oak was their prop to go/dig up and knew the water was rising every few years but I still don't know what they would of put down there to hide for the future not to see.
Hah it's joke! It's saying by the time you've dug another forty feet below where the stone was found, you will have spent two million pounds digging! HEH
It was probably Nostradamus. He was such a joker that guy.
@DuncanDonuts3 olah person when istoria fascinating videos and Oak Island. I see why not say that and waste of time because nobody in their over conscience would create such a structure and architecture of these conplexa, because something lah's knows it is gold or not and no one can even say the mystery and much more.
They don't want us to know what is down there that's why they would rather us wonder about it than them actually show us... if we find out.. Things would never be the same..
new orleans need this levi system to keep water drained of the island. clay must of keep the side dry so the sides wouldnt asorb water and colaps. it was used well in high tides and as ships approched
Why don't we just send a diver team down with diving digging gear? We also have underwater explosives. The record for diving is 2,000 feet, so I'm sure that we can get all the way down. I don't know how we got to the titanic and we sent men to the moon, but we can't get down a tunnel that was dug a very very long time ago thats on land.
What if there is this satan guy who are playing a little trick on us, greed is one of the seven sins after all.... so 40 feet below that sign lies THE GATES TO HELL :D
If the problem is water instead removing it, why not trying a different approach? Sending divers or submarine drones perhaps. We have robots than can perform surgery by someone managing it from the other side of the world, unmanned spaceships, cloning, etc and we cannot solve this? C'on!
@daphnemohajer Doesn't it seem like like something would be built like that to provide a barrier between land and whatever would be down there? I don't know; pretty mysterious shit, man.
i honestly think what ever is down there is long gone. someone would have taken it. surely there would be sonar to show where to dig and honestly divers could block up that hole surely use pumps to get the water out. its really wierd that no one has "got to the bottem" im sure someone has people wouldnt just leave it. also a funny note coconuts are not local on that island so the coconut fibres got there from someone, also someone dug all that way under water?
To my mind there is a few things going on here, perhaps it was just a water filtration system, but has also been used and marked for other purposes. Arrows etc pointing to nearby Islands, like Birch Island.
But if the man made tunnels and shaft are man made, there must be some documentation as to whom or why it was built, and who benifited out of such a system.
@robotron3k I have to agree, after I saw this clip, teh first thing that sprung to my mind is water filtration, also I have been reading and researching Oak island and the "Money Pit", for a couple of weeks, I was thinking that the inscribed stone is translated wrong, the first word translated = forty, but the code has 6 characters, and "Forty" does not, there are more mistakes if you try and decipher the code, using there key.
The money pit is flooded, so the point of this project was to isolate the dig site from the ocean. That required a concrete perimiter to cut off the flow of water. This is what we believe happened: The english or french were the two largest naval powers at the time. Supposedly, a spanish ship crashed near the island and sunk. Either a ship from France or England recovered this treasure, and decided to bury it on this island so that they can come back a later date and retrieve it.
@BlazingBobby After returning with more ships maybe a year later of the initial dig, they retrieved as much of the treasure as possible and before leaving it, dug tunnals that led to the ocean so that any future retrievals from rival countries could be near impossible. Those flood tunnels allow hundreds of pounds of ocean water (about 400lbs/minute) to flow into the money pit area. For this reason, it is highly dangerous and unstable to excavate. Hence, our design to cut off this flow.
The first rule when you hide a treasure is to be able to have access to it later when you want to use it.You dont hide it so deep in the ground that there is no way for you to get to it ever again. Then why dont you just throw it at the bottom of the ocean.
There is no treasure there, just common sense.
Also the "translation" of this stone is ridiculous. Why did they think that the message was in english in the first place?
@JoeDurobot The people who made that "translation" knew about the so-called money pit and treasure theory.
Its not like someone gave them a message in a unknown language and they translated from nothing. They assumed it was in english when its known that the french navy was on that island at some point.
It could have been in any language. But nobody ever saw that stone anyway.
@gooseegg69 you are funny as a rock like yer brain solidyou are even stupid enough to pick a name i suppose you think you are phsychic?????????you sad mentalfuck
One more thing; "Forty Feet Below Two" means; "Find two structures; in the middle dig down firty feet"
"When the last oak tree is gone; you will find the answer" so what we need to do is this; dig that tree up and look forty feet down it; and excavate that area"
Take the tree that is dug up and plant it in the centre of stonehenge; also; plant an apple seed underneath the tree.
@bfyrth LOL; Macintosh? I reread my posts and they need to be explained. There is too much to go into but I do believe that the aquaducts were used as a watering station for boats that would travel the world. When the last oak tree is dug up; treasure will be found. So look under the last Oak Tree. I believe at Stonehenge there were Oak Tree's there; so lets replant the Oak Tree on Oak Island in the middle of Stonehenge.
Ok; so take the entire globe and make a yin-yang out of it; place the centire of one of the circles over the hole made at Oak Island; then find the spot that is in the second circle and start digging. A million pounds of something you will find. I know the location of the lost city of atlantis and I believe the treasure there was already found and is not being held somewhere in a very secure building. I am thinking; Area 51; where they either have this device; or; they can get to middle earth
again this is all mere speculation but i would find it really hard to believe that this is all the work of a bored/insane architect. Even if you knew the all physics involved and have all the resources needed to make it, you would need a large amount of manpower to do it. How could an insane architect persuade groups of men to build something that has a high chance of killing them? not only that, how would you swore everyone to secrecy? only a man with immense power could
Only the Egyptians would have had the technology to engineer something of this magnitude so long ago, we don't know how they built the pyramids, and now we can't solve this mystery.
has anyone ever thought that it was to keep something terrible down there that shouldn't be up here? i mean why go through all that trouble to put something valuable down in a really deep hole anyway?
@WillEyeAmz If that were the case, you'd think there would be some warning. This just looks like somebody wanted to protect something very, very, very securely. I mean it's been three hundred years and we still can't get to it with our technology. My only question is this: how did whoever built it plan on getting back down there?
@CountVonPappenheim i don't know, it's crazy to try and comprehend what could possibly be down there, or who would do such a thing. still like believing it was aliens
@CountVonPappenheim perhaps... if u think deeper to it, whatever they were hiding, they were devoted on completing the task even at the cost of their death. Recent findings said they found metals that could belong to chainmail or armor and some gold fragments
My only question is, why make something to hide something if it is practically impossible to get it back up? unless if it was an accident, I'd say whatever is stored down there, they didn't want anyone else (even themselves) to acquire it
@CountVonPappenheim which then begs the question, why not simply destroy it? now moving on to a bit of science fiction, is the item indestructible? or it is something so sacred that the act of destroying it is (in religious terms) a sin, a violation in nature and yet too valuable that no man should ever be in possession with it?
@cullyvan natural sinkhole with, regular log layers, spaced out regularly at 10 feet intervals right down to 200 feet? What would naturally cause this occurance?
Well who would go though all that work to build such a pit and then just not put anything down there this must have took 100's of years just to dig and then put oak every 10 feet. There is obviously something down there, What I think is down there is probably like the holy grale or something that is never supposed to be found they say this is the most advanced vault that is pritty much impenetrable.
daniel mcguiness first found this thing in 1795 and dug something like 30 feet by hand then gave up and went back 8 years later with some fat cats and their machinery and spent years on the project and made it his life work, he must be rolling in his grave to know that in the futuristic space age of 2010 that know one has recovered anything but more questions
so the tablet says the treasure is at the 130 mark... but this video says were already to the 230 ft mark? so that proves its a lie and we are still digging past it... why? The treasure was probably a sunset or something but we only care about gold these days
Has it been proven to be a sheepskin with writing? It looks like a piece of plant material to me. Its easy for these things to get out of hand, I'd like a scientist to verify this.
funny thing is that with todays technolghy we should be able to dig as far as we want. and if back 100's of years ago someone is able to make this type of system dont you think if there was something down there we would have found it by now. if we can drill through mountains and go down for coal in mines we should easily be able to dig a pit. thats my thinking
@nawasharjattuk Well we are easily able to do this. BUT the problem is that there is no real interest in solving it - thats the modern way of capitalism (that was not so known back when the thing was made)..however, IF one would really like to solve this u'd probably have to survey the whole island for more of those flood channels, ask geologists, use expensive drainage systems etcetcetc. Thats just more than anyone would ever afford for a Treasure Story that in the end will bring less money up
@nawasharjattuk well,`men` have melt`ed down/moved entire mounties: making km²`s of straight-smooth landscape (Nazca) , we have made structures as strong as steel-concrete with drillings inside of a shape and depth of a Pen- all this while not even Seen a single metal(Pumapunku), we have designed Huge structurtes naming them and placing them eXacly with our solar system planets(inca...), we have a Real person: Telling and Writing that he has been in contact with the ETL (The Book of Enoch), ...
@nawasharjattuk Not when this pit has capabilities of flooding that far exceed 600 gallons per tunnel. There are also numerous tunnels. Its hard for any human to visualize the logistics of such mass proportions. Also the most complex systems we have today are based off of early discoveries of technology, hydraulic systems is an example. This pit was quite obliviously built to keep something of great value and importance safe, or perhaps concealed forever. We'll get it eventually...
@DewkChronic There was a cryogenic freezing option that we looked into as well. This was also a previous design from another design group two years prior. The problem is even after freezing, its unsure if it will form a perfect enclosure which is what we want.
For you too get a such a good breakdown of the pit and below you must have done a gpr image with a 200mhz or lower antennae , only with that can you confirm your tunnels etc.
The inscription kind of looks like the old alchemical symbols, after the water, it seems to suggest to burn your way down, that's probably why there are oak platforms, charcoal, stones, and coconut fibers, to catch fire. In terms of alchemical symbols it might also kind of suggests something on the edge of a pool with gravel, the writing might actually go up and down from the side, could be a map of the pit going downward, the arrow where you use fire after the water, etc. (?)

@Rocksolidvb
Has it been proven to be a sheepskin with writing? It looks like a piece of plant material to me. Its easy for these things to get out of hand, I'd like a scientist to verify this.

@THEFRANKLINFILM i do and i cracked it here it is: forty feet below two million punds are buried

funny thing is that with todays technolghy we should be able to dig as far as we want. and if back 100's of years ago someone is able to make this type of system dont you think if there was something down there we would have found it by now. if we can drill through mountains and go down for coal in mines we should easily be able to dig a pit. thats my thinking
nawasharjattuk 2 years ago 21
there does`nt appear to be the will to do this.
strange indeed, considering the amount of trouble whoever built this pit went too.
rbirrell 2 years ago
@nawasharjattuk Well we are easily able to do this. BUT the problem is that there is no real interest in solving it - thats the modern way of capitalism (that was not so known back when the thing was made)..however, IF one would really like to solve this u'd probably have to survey the whole island for more of those flood channels, ask geologists, use expensive drainage systems etcetcetc. Thats just more than anyone would ever afford for a Treasure Story that in the end will bring less money up
Germankaviar 1 year ago
@nawasharjattuk the problem is there is 3 drainage systems that flood the hole and make it impossible to venture.

Probably not worth the money....for what it's supposedly worth. At least an x-ray though?

We'll get it eventually...

liquid hydrogen, to freeze the seawater then dig through the ice.
DewkChronic 2 years ago
