they are simply retesting it. There was a lot of BLs that didn't need to be. So they threw BL and UU together and giving every Pokemon in UU their fair shot. If you would actually notice, they are rebuilding the BL tier now.

I'm pretty sure that for a short time Spiritomb was OU, but for most of the time, it was BL

I actually considered it for quite some time, but since I use 252 HP + 252 DEF Spiritomb, Calm Mind gives it quasi-invincibility, which is nice to have.
