this is THE most underrated tool song... i give you props man... anything by DC is by no means easy... and ya got the mechanics and stuff dead on... there's fluidity though... you're just like blasting everything... im really not raggin on ya ... just constructive criticism I guess... what makes DC (and tool) amazing is their ability to be thrashing/pounding, while still maintaining a great sense of flow... otherwise awesome job man!!

The lack of repetition is actually what I find tricky about this song, and I found it harder to master than songs like Schism, lateralus and Stinkfist.

The only thing becoming more apparent to me is your toms.. It sounds like they could be tuned a bit lower (at least the lower toms themselves) or even just given a bit more breathing room. But then again, it's each person's own preference.

clean them a lot. once a week is best, once a month is fine. use a proper solution desighned for cleaning cymbals, you can find it at music stores. also learn how to hit your cymbals properly. dont hit them straight on, make more of a sweeping motion with the stick as often as possible. sometimes when your playing really fast though its hard too.
