I love Jean-Paul Fouchecourt's voice, it's absolutely beautiful! It's so strange, however, to actually see what he looks like... Especially in THIS production as Pluton... Heh! XD

I guess that Offenbach figured that as long as he was in France he might as well do something truly weird. This evidently is a pastiche of parts of different productions. Dessay is her usual frenetically, athletically perfect actress, comic, singer. I've seen (videos of) Laurent Naouri as the fly, but he is even better as Jupiter. Natalie's "husband" in the scene with the violinist is a good match for her, which requires a lot. The finale was great, and certainly different. Loved it!
