Actually bow is best to kill the bear by crouching because sneak attacks do 2x damage , 1 hit kill

Also, are dark elves capable archers? If so, how much of a disadvantage do they have over wood elves? If it's not substantial then archer/mage combo would be quite effective I'd assume. Thanks for the help! :)

A quick question, can your bow or arrow be modified with spells or elements? Maybe that's called enchanting? Like can arrows be infused with fire, ice, etc? Pardon my lack of terminology I don't own Skyrim yet but I plan on getting it soon and making a wood elf. Please reply!

@KarmahhXD you start with flames spell and healing spell, and if you're a wood elf you start also with the command animal ability.

@KarmahhXD At the beginning of the game there should be a way of finding it at the beginning but other then that you can buy spells from Magicka wizards.
