you can make interesting/awesome beats with a single bass. ask John Bonham. Buddy Rich. etc. It's just a matter of having good foot technique.
But yes this is quite uninteresting and simple.

Why did you respond this video to an augury tuning session?
Not only are you not doing a augury cover, but your playing stuff with a single bass and really simple handwork.
