question for ya, if you try this on someone and fail, can you do it again and succeed, even thought they know what is about to happen? I was trying this on my parents and I cant seem to get it to work
@dereileak Hypnosis is a little more complicated than just this. Doing it ''undercover'' is pretty difficult. The person needs to be very suggestible (A.K.A a somnambulist). Usually, when doing hypnosis on someone else, you need to have a ''pre-talk'' which is a normal discussion with ur volunteer. After that, they need to be CONVINCED that you ARE the hypnotist and that it's the real deal.
This is usually harder with family members because they fail to beleive that you can do such a thing.
Hypnosis is not all about the surprise aspect. Expectation plays a huge role too. If the person knows they're going to go into trance after they close their eyes, they most likely will.
Though, if you've failed a couple of times on someone, the probability of him seeing you being successful is probably slim to none.. you might as well find someone else (which is my current problem! not enough of volunteers!)
