WASP was always one of my favorites ... when they Headless Children came out it seems they really turned into something far more deep and then i got this album and was completely blown away ... one of my favorite albums period
Blackie Lawless is far more talented and deep then he will ever get credit for. This is a shame because he deserves so much more recognition
Shocks me there is even 2 dislikes at this time ... oh well, their loss
I frist heard the Last Command when i was 15 it rocked then and it kicks it now,i love this relese even without the playing of Chris Holmes.....then again i think this album gains its power and passion from Frankie Banali, omg what a god,his playing on this cd really is the glue witch holds it fast.
wow. i love the live version of this song, but i think this version is mixed really badly, i dunno why but the levels are totally out in my opinion. the drums are way too overpowering.
That's probably cos' you listened to the live version first. For me, this version is simply unmatched; and the powerful drums greatly contributes to its greatness. The foreground drums contrast beautifully with the background soulful melody; and one can feel the inner struggle of sadness behind these powerful but at the same time, very sorrowful melody. If the drums were any softer, it would definitely fail to fully express the spirit of this song.
I haven't listened to a song from this album for years, and I forgot how good it was. I saw them at Donington the year this album came out and they were very good.
One of the best metal/rock albums in history! Especially if you're a drummer, heh!

This is IMO the best WASP output ever, ironically it was a Blackie Lawless solo effort that came out under the WASP monicker because of label issues.
rock on WASP!
