This is excellent..and I agree, historical..could it be the very last recording of John? Is the date when he recorded this available? Anyway, I agree with some comments below-and hearing him singing these lyrics. The way he lived-he may have 'lived' equivalent of 2 or 3 lifetimes, but its still too bloody soon for him to have gone. Comercially at best 'partially succesfull', but that means *shite all*...he was (for me and some others at least), the best, pure soul. His music will live forever.
just discovering you john even though you've been part of my parents massive music collection for decades your undoubtably my mom and dads favorite muscian, im looking forward to discovering all your great music its unfortunate i never knew how great your stuff was earlier in life, u'll be an inspiration to me for the future im sure of that, its a real shame i discoverd ur stuff after ur passing, cause ill never get to see you live.
