I agree 100%. AIC without Jerry would definitely not be AIC, either. Jerry and Layne were the heart and soul of the band, respectively. A different drummer could dramatically change the sound of the band, too, but I think they could still maintain their overall sound w/out Sean. As for the bassist, I've always thought the band was better with Starr, despite Inez being technically superior.

Johnson is the farthest thing from a Bon clone. Completely different vocal style and stage presence. And none of Bon's songs were used on BIC. Angus and Malcolm were the primary songwriters. Jerry wrote a lot of AIC tunes anyway, so my guess is he had a lot of ideas going into this project as well.
