  • very nice video, thanks

  • Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu are the best martial arts combination imo.

If you add wresting or judo it will complicate things because you will either choose if you want to kick, punch etc or throw but if you just have MT and BJJ you will do great standing up and if the guy throws you against the floor you can easily make him tap. Add judo or wresting and you won't do that great with muay thai, they will limit your muay thai. Just my opinion tho.

  • why is the Muy Tai you see Tony Jaa do look like a Martial Art? when everyone else does it looks like just waterd down wresting.

  • One Night in Bangkok (Murray Head)

    Danger Zone (Kenny Loggings)

Really good music for this video!!!

    THANKS!!!!!

  • mauy boran is number 1

  • this is really muay thai ?????????

  • @Pulidopx Yes, a good taster of it-try 'muay thai training' on the search or 'techniques'. Great stuff. Enjoy

  • muay thai is so cool :D but unfortunately most of its moves are very space wasting if i was in a tight situation like on a bus or being crowded i would go for Wing Chun and then when space opened up would break out the knees and elbows and long kicks :D anyone agree? cuz i do Wing Chun but would also like to do this would think those two are a great combo.

  • @GeninShin0bi Elbows are as close quarters as it gets, are you dense?

  • @Sjamsucks finally some body talked about shit wing chun.i do not know how people can belivie wing chung kung fu or shotokan can work in real fight? these people has no idea what is real fight...because they do not have hard sparring as muay thai to understund what works what not.

  • @bushidoartss u dnt know the science of wing chun so shut up

nd do u even practice martial arts? i bet u dnt, people like u jus come on youtube all day instead of getting up fukin lazy body off nd doin something worth, u never know when the martial art u talk bout maybe fuk u up someday

  • @50150187 my fight video on my channel..i do practise 16 years.. befor i practise young man his name Bruce lee he said wing chun is bulshit and maked jeet kundo//i can fight with wing chun with one finger go fuck yourself looser dickhead..all my life i was figthing...keyboard bitch warriors like you can suck my dick

  • @50150187 wing chun shittest martial arts ever for shittest people

  • @GeninShin0bi Wing Chun is a useless pile of crap that disguises itself as a fighting style, it's a dance.

  • @GeninShin0bi you should be 10 years old if you think you can use wing chun in real fight..have you idea what is real fight? wing chun suck chung kung fu karate how many time this thailand fighters sdhould kicked their ass you stupid guys belivie all traditional style are bulshit.. china +thailand had 10 times team fight always thailand won..what you need more?

  • funny song MT4LIFE!!!!

  • 90% of people who watch this is imitating it right now. I don't see why not. It's the same as learning from a teacher, sensei, khru.

  • @HatenSuffering hahaha you got meXD

  • old

  • nice vid.....i subd plz sub back......cool channel btw :)

  • What's that one move where the fighter dodges a 12 gauge shotgun round to the chest and face...? it's right at the tip of my tongue...

  • @RazorRivetRiot: It's when a Muay Thai fighter draws his pistol faster than you can pump that shotgun. Many martial artists I know keep guns at home. Other examples are Marines and US Army Rangers. Great at hand to hand combat and hardly miss with a firearm. Besides, if you point a shotgun at a Muay thai fighter, he'll just shove it up your ass and knock you out. Then he'll take that shotgun and blow your arms off.

  • 100000000 pointsssss exelente my friend

  • superrrrrrrrr hay que mejorar mejorar pero para defenderse no para buscar problema

  • yo apenas soy estudiante

    y la verdad

  • @leopoldvs

    no problem

  • One night in bangkok

  • muay thai forever...THE STRONGEST MARTIAL ART

  • nice stuff- some nice elbows - not sure about that style of knees. i prefer to keep one hand as guard .

  • Can some one tell me please what is the music name, 4:36

  • Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone

  • muay thai is the best stand up style!

  • i have been doing Muay thai since 1995 and it is an awesome style

  • whats the first song !? one nighttt in bangkok

  • ive been tryning muay thai my self for about like 3 years and i just love it specially elbows techniques . thore are just so lehtal damm. i agree with aa3gunner . the best stand up fighting art.

  • 4:35 is just crazy! I wonder how often it appears in real situations (such as competitions)... Can't be very common, 'cause it looks hard as hell to execute

  • 4:29

    cool

  • I wanna learn it now.

    hehe

  • Wow! this video is super cool..

  • Training muay thai has shaped me much physically and mentally. I love it. Its painful, but i love it.

In my opinion, its the best stand up fighting style.

  • agreed.

  • @aa3gunner yeah i'm with you on that one.

  • ta bueno el video

  • Been doing Muay Thai for about a year now...god, I love those low kicks. You put in at the right place enough times...

  • nice video muay thai!

  • Muy buen video.

  • @ metalkid1337 being muscular has nothing to do with muay thai, does not have to do with any type of martial arts for that matter.

  • I did Karate for 7 years and earned my blackbelt. While in the military I survived a serious back injury. A year later I was into muay thai because most kicks were lowkicks, today, 12 years later I am kicking high and hard with no back problems. Thank God for Muay Thai!

  • where u trained at?

  • i love muay thai its amazing been doing it 4 3 months now :)

  • i love muay thai

  • what you talking about?

    the music is awesome

  • one night in bangkok lool :D +Heavenly*

  • good video... but those guys at the beginning look kinda skinny....

  • -.- muay thai fighters are sopose to be skinny they acculy most of muay thay figthers are below there body weigh sorry for the bad english

  • Think you should kind of fight them if you find them skinny, the power is not the same as the size like those bodybuilders are just big. Not that strong...

  • well, yeah, bodybuilders are strong actually, but they'd be crap Muay Thai fighters becuase they'd be way to slow and they wouldn't have enough endurance. Muay Thai is all about speed, agility and that's why there arn't many big Muay Thai fighters.

  • omg.... miuzic shit

  • great vid!

  • muay thai is one the most dangerous fighting combacts in the world, like the kicks ,elbows, knees and style, but the defense is very simple ,the way they fight is just amazing they recive alot of punish by opening their guard to much!

  • Kenny Loggins is the singer

  • highway to the danger zone - from top gun movie

  • vou ser breve e direto

muay thai: O melhor stilo d luta q existe!!!

    soh isso

    xD

  • This is a brutal sport, many boxers die each year. The winner only earns a few thousand bucks.

  • muay thai is possibly the most deadly art, the only thing i dont like about it is that muay thai fighters have bad defence for the head and dont have good hands.

    still awesome lol =D

  • What do you call catch, parry, cover, sweep, bob and weave? Theres lot of defense for the head

  • yes there is, those are in most combat sports, its just that muay thai fighters dont do it well, mostly due to them having to worry about kicks mind you.

im just saying from the ones i fought when i transitioned from boxing to muay thai

  • they train there jaws and neck to help prevent a knockout not only that they block punches rather then dodge

  • you cant condition your body to take shots to the face, you get a good shot your gonna get knocked out lol. yes they do train to block but their hands are held far to the side, very easy to go straight up the middle with a right or upper cut

  • well actually you can only slightly help out your jaw and your neck to HELP prevent knockouts not straight out prevent them

  • actually fighters have more calcium deposits on their jaw from getting hit, stronger schoulders to absorb the impact, and once you condition your head your brain gets lesser and lesser pain responses (neural panic waves, which causes temporary unconsciousness)

  • 'yeah but they are pritty good at throwing those punshes to and besides. Do you get that close without getting a punch, elbow, kick or knee to keep you from distance you are good=)

  • i agree

  • people die in the ring in thailand. thai boxing can deadly

  • It's extremely rare.

  • well....yeah bt it happens,. not often no, esp considereing how widely practiced it is there. But i remember 1 year 6 people died i the ring. My wife is thai, her family lives there and i go here alot, so i try to keep up to date with the muaythai goss. But yes it's rare. still happens enough to say that muaythai can prove deadly.

  • I have researched it and its so rare that you hardly hear about it. In lethwei in the other hand is actually common.

  • it is rare, i didn't say othewise. you don't hear about when it happens because no one important dies. It's more commn in cambodia and burma. pretty much the same art too.. with the burmese headbutting aswell.

  • Do you like kickboxing???

  • is the pope catholic?

  • Yes.

  • ......i hope you didn't have to research that. yes i like kickboxing,

  • awesome video! muay thai! the best fighting style!

  • sureioutioutsz

  • nice clip!

  • muay thai é a luta

  • ugliest music ive ever heard in my life. i think my ears are bleeding :S

  • Animall esse videoo!

"Muay Thai mais que um esporte uma Filosofia de vida"

  • myai thai looks so awesome : )

  • 3:58

  • I bet you just some gay ass punk pretending to be straight. lol

  • ahah maybe you are too monkey man. don't hate just because i showed the facts right the first time. (;

  • I bet these guys would whipped that ass real easy. I don't think you would 2 minutes.

  • oh yeah? good for them. they do whatever they want and you do whatever you want because i don't really care lmao.

  • Muay Thai is the martial art for gods!

  • if you can achieve a good striking background such as muay thai, or san shou for that matter, and get a solid ground game (bjj, wrestling,) you will have a good start

  • the oldest martial art of using knees, fists, elbows and kicks was indian adithada it is around 3000-5000yrs old and if the british didnt come and ban its practise for 200yrs i think it would be allot more well known...ive been to india and seen the style and it resembles muay boran and other south east asian martial arts in soo many ways, after all they were part of greater india.

  • yes

  • thanks man i liked the video, liked the other guy had mentioned before, this really helps begginers im really intrigued by muay thai and for me its the best fighting style there is, also very eficient, and thoughtful. =)

  • muay thai is the best striking style but jiu jitsu is better

  • You sound like me, I have been fighting Muay Thai for a few years now, Started Jui Jitsu about a year ago, they are both the best in their domains if you ask me.

  • why the fuck did u stop taking jiu jitsu!?!?!?!?!?

  • you can not say jiu jitsu is better!! your another one of those people who watched the gracie tapes and said" yep that proves it jiu jitsus the best!" None, not ONE of those gracies beat ANYONE who was world class at there style!you put royce in a mma match with a good muat thai fighter(from thailand) and watch him eat a knee as he shoots in like he ALWAYS does.

  • hahahahaha man the funny thing is that ur right... thats how i proved my theory but still i guess u have a point... until gracie fights a professional muay thai, i can't talk. I also used to do muay thai but i dropped cause if u in my opinion if u don't know ground grappling u give urself a false sense of security.

  • I stopped taking jj because I had reconstructive surgery on my left ankle, then in a few months, after rehab, I get to have it done on my right!!!

And to all saying one form is better or not: No one style is better than the next, they are just different. They all have their strong areas and weak areas.

  • what happened to your ankle, I think I had the same thing @ bjj

  • Years of skating, Muay Thai, and BJJ, I had some ligament and cartilage damage, so they went in and cleaned it all up, no weight bearing for 2 months, then a few months of PT, then I'll back in the gym!

  • Awsome footage, terrible music

  • true

  • Beeing the sport that it is to this day. It is still not safe as say... well about all other MA... Thailand holds the name for it in the end... Yes it is there art but they did not make it! They only formed what we are seeing today the name 8 limbs of Muay Thai belong to the Thai it is there style so give it to them! In the end all you can really say is it's a mix of things. MUAY THAI FOREVER!!!

  • Also for the people who think Muay Boran is what Tony Jaa is doing and it has flips in it and all that . Your wrong! Muay Boran started nothing more then Muay Thai with less moves and i know your thinking WHAT?!?! less moves!

Well yes it is its from the old days of Muay Thai. First started without gloves and then later rope fist! Then as ngaiflex said some Bokator was added creating the hardest fighting style ever leading to many Thai deaths now days it is more of only a sport.

  • If you practice with patience and perseverance you really develop...I've trained 6 to 8 hours of calesthenics. Now I'm proud to say I can split well. I'm very flexible. I can reach my cock using my mouth. I can lick it and masturbate it wet. You guys should train harder so that you can do the same...Goodluck. eeeeee

  • gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.. Lol

  • ahahahahaha! fuckin Bastard..I'm just messin around dude..Love it when people turn berserk bout my comments...ehehehehe

  • good job! u r real master!

  • Be quiet

  • u sounded really good up until the masturbating part

  • Lol, just messin dude...But I am training muay thai..Since 8yrs old...And part of our training is rigid stretching(Traditional....)LOL but the masturbating part is dead fake man...Just messin around......

  • LOL

  • :O y sick bastard xD

  • lol...

  • Best of martial arts!

  • el video se sale pero si hubieses puesto una musica de mauy thai estaria mejor

  • i love this sport...i will start it in next year:)

  • muay thai rocks!

  • muy bueno¡¡

  • lol funky music goes good with the clip though good techniques overall good clip :]

  • muay is primarily the basis for most advanced mma fighters.

there is a different side to it. it's probably ancient techniques from Muay Boran. And i don't think it's taught anywhere else than thailand itself. It looks very uh, nice, it's different from most muay thai you would see that people use.

  • Cambodia and laos.

You dont no the history of Muay Thai.

Cambodia and thailand hated each other so much Cambodians created a fighting style just in case they lost their weapons. Thai looked upon this style and copied the cambos.

  • its really the other way around yeah but not with Cambodia! was first founded between the Burma Siam wars first created to defend with no weapons it was brought to Thailand from Siam by King Nareusan in 1560.A.D so from 1560 to now they have been doing in Thai however Thailand has added to the sport with new styles well now so new now but most of them have not been seen in 100s of years

is not from Cambodia but your closer then most people

  • Actually I think its Cambodia that originally bred this whole group of muay thai like martial arts.Infact i personally call them the 'Bokator' group of arts.Bokator is, i think the oldest in the region, and if you look at it in practice, you see that a lot of muay thai and lethwei are drawn from it.Especially muay thai.the techniques are almost identical except Bokator has some tosses and throws/takedowns as well.its lethal.....

  • Well Bokator is in Muay Thai your right. Understand Muay thai is not from just Cambodia.Bokator is only a part of the fighting style. Muay Boran, aka old school Muay Thai comes from Burma it was not untill later that the Bokator moves where put in it. Really was formed from all over thoughout south east Asia to be what it is today, but was first brought by the King from the times of the Burma and Siam wars trust me it part of Thai history

  • I understand what your saying and i aint sayin that muay thai came from cambodia...im sayin, bokator, which is cambodian is the oldest and probably the ancestor of the south eastern martial arts...I know about the Burma/Siam wars and how that developed Muay thai but if you really consider that Bokator is older than Leithwei, muay thai and all the rest, then ul c just what im talking about....Yes,leithwei is older than Muay thai...but my focus is a comparison of all these arts to BOKATOR.

  • There is no saying how old the first form of south east fighting started from Burmas end.

Burma is a crazy place lol but im sure we both know enugh to say they are 2 forms blend into one that make Muay Thai

  • AWESOME VIDEO

    THANKS.!!!!!!

  • the is a great video, did you make it? this is definatly one of my favourites, well done

  • ID LOVE 2 TRAIN WITH THAT MUZZAK!!

  • nice

  • good video .. i train in muay thai (2006) kyoukushin (2006) tae kwon do (2008) ... but the best and the strongest is muay thai ... MUAY THI is my life

  • What the hell do you know about Muay Thai? You probably train in your own basement with yourself. I have trained for 8 years in muay thai. You don't know what you are talking about. In fact the demo is text book perfect.

  • Is muay thai only sport or is there another side to it that you don't see in competitions or sparring.I like it...just wondering.

  • Muay Thai as you see it is more like a sport. Check out the Lethwei boxers on you tube...they are like Muay Thai...only more primitive and more lethal. They kick serious ass. Real Muay Thai is like that. I am 44 now....hard to get up to that level. If you are younger , you should try it. I started Wing Chun 3 years ago. Great fighting style for the mature fighters.

  • ..i train a kickbox full contact , but the Muay Thai is the most powerfull fightnig...!

  • very good video and i like the music, i am a muay thai fighter :)

  • great song and great scnenes :)

  • what a shit music..... omg

    really this music sux

  • great video! gave me a good idea of what to expect on Thursday when i try this

  • u mean me bannedagain?

    thanks!!!

but yeah,i've studied muay thai before.

    but not to the professional

    degree tho.

i used it on a friend of mine hu has knowledge in silat and taekwando.

both those martial arts don't stand a chance.

in a street fight, muay thai is the best.

  • in street fight box it the best...

    but w/e - i do karate : D
