After the Frieza arc, Bulma offers to let Vegeta stay with her. She's still dating Yamcha at this time. A little while passes, and Vegeta goes off to find Goku, but then he returns unsuccessful in his attempt. She banters with him a bit, and forces him to take a shower and wear a pink shirt that gets him made fun of. 40 minutes later Trunks arrives from the future and tells Goku that eventually Vegeta and Bulma have a "night of passion." and he's born. Time passes and yeah, Vegeta is a good guy.

@theadirondackcoyote haha! is that what actually happened? xD that's awesome. I didn't actually know how it happened. Do Bulma and Vegeta every actually get married? That's one thing about anime, it never shows any sign of weddings and marriage... apart from "Trunks the Bride" in GT of course lol!
