He looks better than he has over the pass few years, he's in great shape, and in my opinion displays some great Karate. It takes hard work to achieve and maintain both skill and physic at any age...especially being middle aged.

He's doing a photo-shoot; I don't expect any kicks that are supposed to be used for a real fight, or any punches, stances or anything. Everything is going to be picture-perfect. I'd like to see if he can do anything in the ring. I've grown up watching him on movies, but that's hardly a fighting career.

@kashpc lol There's no record of Bruce Lee's master, Wong Sheun Long, were ever been beaten in illegal fights called "beimo" that happened after the invasion of japan in china, where all the styles, including japanese Karate and Judo were in proof. Bruce Lee studied martial arts because of the street fights he was always in, and even was prohibited to teach to non-chinese people kung fu, so he suffered a lot of no-rules challenges from various martial arts masters.

@kashpc He founded Jeet Kune Do, as like KaJuKembo he mixed various styles cutting cocky movements and shitty "katas" to just-contact where all kinds of hits were permitted such as kicks in the groin, etc in a time where martial arts were executable only with hands, some others mainly from the kicks or sometimes just by throws. He made from that mix a single and first mainstream martial art where you could put it all together. This "facts" came from MA books, Documentaries and biography

He lived en SF almost all his life, That what you say about he spent his life fighting it´s a lie. there no films, no tournaments, no registries... remember there were already full contact tournaments at the 70´s. He could easily been assisted. If you´re sure he was a fighter post a video or tournaments registries. Chuck was a Karate Champion. Bruce Lee was just marketing. van damme, bruce lee, bolo yeung, epic fighters from the 70-80s who is somewhat the founders for MMA, with movies like bloodsport and shootfighting. and in bruce's way, the mix of martial arts = Jeet Kun Do. it gave birth to what is called MMA today. a few people saw the opportunity and created UFC. but to sit and compare these movie fighters and "hate" on them, and comparing them to "in the ring fighters" is just wrong. without van damme, there would never been a Cro Cop. think about it...
