b.) bruce is not only in the movie.. but he directed.. its "his" movie..

c.) Evil dead 2 basicly WAS an evil dead remake. They summed up the whole damn movie in like 8 mins and then continued the story...

Actually I think he is referring to an Evil Dead remake hat was planned, bt I think they never got it finished and it was cancelled.

The story was going to be simillar, but there would not only be a lack of Bruce Campbell, but there was no Ash at all, which I think wouldve been good because there is only ONE Ash.

This is a fucking comedy. Bruce plays himself (bruce cambell) and the monster fighting is all satire cheese that sort of requires you to be familiar with evil dead to catch many of the jokes.

Second.. who gives a shit what it looks like? All the evil dead movies look like a pile of crap compared to 2day's special effects.. and they rule.. Meanwhile hollywood churns out shiite movies every single day that have 20mil in CGI...

The film was originally going to be a remake, but Sam got much more involved I guess and is making a sequel.

I am wondering how Raimi will be able to film Spidey 4 & 5 and The Evil Dead at the same time. He can take forever to shoot and doesnt work well with too much material(Spidey 3). But I have faith in him. Not too many villains, stay true to your roots, using your head to think of insane special Effects.

I can't believe Bruce isnt in DMTH though. Burn Notice... but its so good.

I saw an interview just recently and Bruce sheds some light on a possible 4th ED with him as Ash. He wants Raimi do old school with the cameras and effects and avoid a disaster like Grindhouse.
