  • advanced tips lol

  • BOSTON BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice boston accent lmaoo

  • nice video, thanks.

  • Logic needs a complete overhaul ... feels like it's 2000 again !! they just keep adding new plugins ... and yes they're very nice ! :) but really ... it needs to be less laborious to use (protools too)

  • YOur From BOSTON BABY!!

  • our....

    guitah track?

    :D

  • how the fuck do you plug in the guitar!?!?!?!?

  • Using an amp (if it's Electric/Electric-Acoustic) and us a cord that is half amp jack and half headphone sized. Put the amp jack into either the headphone hole of your amp or the line in hole. Then use the headphone sized one and plug it into the mic hole of your computer. I don't know the proper term-anology for anything. I hope that made sense to you!

  • i know i used that for garageband but idk how to have it be recognized.

  • they also have a have amp jack half USB i havnt used that one yet but ive thought of trying one out.

  • You need an adapter for your guitar lead to connect to the input socket of your computer (3mm).

  • well to plug in the guitar(electric) you need an audio interface.

  • and how may i get that?

  • you have to buy the interface, mbox..costs around 100-200$. the one that i use is Apogee Duet($600). Do some research on the internet son.

  • that i shall man thank you very much

  • dude, dont listen to monkea what ever. im recording as we speak and all you need is an AUX cable, a 1/8 to 1/4 jack, a guitar cord, and (of course) an amp and a guitar.

  • steps:

    1. take the AUX cable.

    2. attach the 1/8 to 1/4 jack to one end of the aux cable.

    3. take the 1/8 end of the AUX and put it in your microphone jack in the computer.

    4. on your amp, there should be an amp out hole, put the 1/4 end of the AUX cable in this hole

  • 5. take your guitar cord and put it in the amp and guitar.

    6. go to your system preferences, find sound-input/mic and choose line in/ built in line in. fix the sensitivity to make it not to loud/too quiet.

    7. click record and play!

    COST: 15$-40$! not 600!

    your welcome!

  • gitaaaaar, must be from boston?

  • I think there is a Windows version of protools but not logic... macs are way better though...

  • ur mom didnt say that last night

  • This may be a stupid question....

but I really want to learn how to use music software like Apples Logic, but do you need to you actual instruments? Or are there like virtual instruments in the software that you just use and mix? If you want to make music, can you do it using only the software?

  • yes you can,

It helps greatly to have a midi keyboard to play the virtual instruments but it is not entirely necessary, and you don't need to be able to play it well at all to make music.

Electronic music can and usually is made in this way without any recorded instruments at all.
