I just bought a Sony HDR-SR1 HDD video camera that records in AVCHD format. Do you know of any free of inexpensive editing software that wil edit AVCHD?
Sony Vegas 7.0e, Vegas Pro 8, and Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8, Corel's Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus, Pinnacle's Studio Plus 11, Canopus' EDIUS Pro 4.5, and Apple's Final Cut Studio 2 and iMovie '08 video editing software support the AVCHD format.
I do like it. The biggest problem is that I don't understand all of the lingo...never having used drugs myself...But I like the ambiguity of it...poetic.
Or maybe it's the "breaking glass" part? Crackheads often use glass pipes for a smoother toke, but they burn so much rock in them that the pipes break.
Yes he is. but he hasn't shared any jargon. He and I have differing political views....we avoid politics unless we are in the mood to fight with one another.
Extremely powerful.
Brought chills down my spine.
Glad you hooked up.

Yet, each time, I have started to
leave a comment... I find I can't.

Thank you. I'll make more. I have a lot of tales of the urban nomad queuing up to be told.
marquisdejolie 4 years ago
Don't even know where to begin with that one - brilliant!

Thanks! It's a true story. Me and that kid didn't get along. The sidewalk wasn't big enough for the two of us.
marquisdejolie 4 years ago
what...you and coloursepia?
foxalito 4 years ago
Nah. :) Coloursepia did the voiceover but the conflict was between me and the crackhead.

Another good one. Love your stories. Always makes me think. Keep it deep :)

Perhaps I should cry "Leave the cattle alone!" while lighting cow farts. I'd be an overnight sensation! Jay Leno would call.

I'll be on the lookout for those troop movements. I think I saw a supply truck crossing the WalMart parking lot...

Probably was. The enemy is everywhere.

True story.

But expressed in a very poetic, powerful way. I really enjoy these pieces. Thank you.

I'll make more. I have hundreds of tales of my urban nomad travels queuing up to be told.

I also think the reader, an Asian female, makes adds to the power of the piece. :) Looking forward to them!

She has a beautiful voice. Did you write this?
Poetivity 4 years ago
Yes I did. I've got hundreds of these in my Ironweed series. I've been published here and there, once in a while. Like it? Tough subject, I know.

I do like it. The biggest problem is that I don't understand all of the lingo...never having used drugs myself...But I like the ambiguity of it...poetic.
Poetivity 4 years ago
The lingo you're probably having difficulty with is the military jargon from Vietnam I used allegorically.
marquisdejolie 4 years ago
Or maybe it's the "breaking glass" part? Crackheads often use glass pipes for a smoother toke, but they burn so much rock in them that the pipes break.
marquisdejolie 4 years ago
I understood that part. I think it's the military jargon.
Poetivity 4 years ago
Isn't your son in the military in Iraq?
marquisdejolie 4 years ago
Yes he is. but he hasn't shared any jargon. He and I have differing political views....we avoid politics unless we are in the mood to fight with one another.
