I'm not following Angel+Faith but... TECHNICALLY: While Buffy is off playing General post-Chosen Angel S5 is going on and if Don't Fade Away takes place in May or whatever then its already been a year since Chosen. So I'm going to keep things simple. If we look at the show's season as a year each. You have Angel S5 and Buffy S8 beginning there. Angel S6 (AtF) and Buffy S9 before finally Angel and Spike returning to BtVS during Buffy S10. And now that that's over with we're in Buffy S11

@Aeetos No. S8 comics start after Angel and ATF ends. It goes After the Fall, IDW Angel stories, IDW's 8 issue Spike series, then Season 8, which is a year. The S9 and Angel and Faith at the same time. During Angel S5 and ATF the Soobies were establishing the Slayer army, Willow pulled way from them, Dawn started college but dropped out after she went giant, etc.

This just might be my favorite of the Whedonverse intros, of any season.

Angel and Spike's vamp faces at :10 and :12 are legitimately chilling and badass as hell. Plus, it's got Illyria; what's not to love?

@magicarp79 I started reading the Twilight series when a classmate told me it was about vampires, i'm like "cool"

When I got to the part about the sparkling in the sun, i'm like Bullshit, sun+vampire=ashes that's the way it's been and that's the way it should be. I mean come on I expected the books to be like Angel/Buffy.
