  • this song makes me wanna go to china to pay a visit to my hmoob people.

  • i'm hmong from usa. i'm actually in guiyang, guizhou now. where can i find the miaos that speak close to the dialect as the miaos in usa???

  • @Aulora0104

Well, I knew it didn't end with Laos, but as far as history and knowledge, it ended with Laos. The rest was legend and myths. Something about living in the hills (ancestors) and not knowing your full history that always bothered me as a kid. And today, I know.

  • @jephboy i know what you mean...growing up..i never really knew what it meant to be HMONG and where we came up...always heard from China but was never sure where...watching these videos has improve my knowledge and gained better understands of what it means to be Hmong and I''m proud to be Hmong just by seeing all these nice clothes and music..to me this is what part of being Hmong is

  • @Aulora0104

They don't. Only ignorant people think like that. I was once ignorant, as a boy, because we grew up thinking Hmong ended with Laos and the chaos of the Secret War. I was embarrassed sometimes to be Hmong. But now, older and wiser, I realize there's no more excuse for ignorance. The internet has allowed what our oppressors have never allowed us to have, and that is a piece of unity and common bond. Peb yog hmoob, tsis txhob hnov qab! (We are Hmong, don't forget!)

  • i really want to go to guizhou to see our hmong people

  • Can't even hear what they are saying

  • Cov nod ntshe yog lus Hmoob Ntsuab. Blue Hmong?

  • Miao is the official name used in China for Hmong/Mong,Hmu,AHmao,Qho Xiong. The term Miao can't be taken away for these few reasons:1,Miao is already used as an official name for our group. 2, Miao has long been writen in history referrence to our group and to keep that history we must keep Miao. And there are l a lot more reasons but there is not enough space to list them here. So the easiest way is to keep it as is and add your subgroup. i.e. Miaohmong,Miaohmu,MiaoAhmao, Miaoqhoxiong.

  • Thanks for uploaded all these Hmong videos for us to enjoy. I really want to know other more about our brothers and sisters in China, Vietnam, Burma.

  • It was said that the Chinese writing now days, might be ours. Now I'm not claiming that it is ours because I don't know the truth. I heard it from a movie. Forgot which one. Anyone have more information on this???

  • Its interesting how far hmong from laos have shifted from Hmong China. The language the clothing look so different. This change has happen through hundreds of years but it so hard to grasp. Just imagine if we still lived in china we would sound so different and our complextion much whiter.

  • The guys look like they're wearing Mongolian clothing?

  • hmong people in china dont get an education becasue the chinese dont like us but if you do then its just enough to be a slave or just like elementary level... thats what i herd thats why they speak chinese to sneak around prejudice chinese people....

  • @tribesking

As a Chinese from Guizhou, I am very surprised at this comment. Don't you need to speak English in America? Can you call this as "to sneak around prejudice America"? The education problem is because most Miao live in very poor remote area where there are education problems for both Miao and Han Chinese.

  • @zuoyezhideng

I can understand this song. :)

  • @niamtxiv

Between the noise, I can sort of make out what the words are saying. It's just too noisy.

  • @zuoyezhideng

i am very sorry for my ignorance and rudeness, but i was just trying to see if there would be any feed backs and there you comment me back on my comment. i was just trying to see if i would catch anyone's attention from my harsh comment. Please excuse me for that but i am a miao/hmong myself and i do have chinese friends. I just wanted to see if anyone would react to this comment that i left behind thinking of nothing.

  • i'm courage our people in china to get high education and help each other. thats were we start and that were our ancestor live. plus they are our people i care about every hmong people.

  • @sebastiantao agree. But you should courage our people in the west to get high education and HELP each other. I think those in the east are more united than the west.

  • lets just say HMONGS are the same like every other ethnic groups. FOR EXAMPLE: Just like the chinese, there's mandarin AND cantonese language? same thing=CHINESE, but different accents and a difference in writing. taiwanese i guess, FALLS in the CHINESE description SOMEHOW. I dont know? even if it is KNOWN as a DIFFERENT ethnic, its still VERY similar to chinese language...so, for hmong, theres GREEN(which is kind of OFFENSIVE to use that TERM) and WHITE...different ACCENTS....

  • Wait!!!!!!!!!! Are you guys saying Im a fucken Chinese! Shit, it still hasnt been confirmed that Hmong really were Chinese Desecendant.
