I have worked on the anti-missile defense shield for the US Air Force Space Command out of Vandenberg AFB in California, and worked closely with the interceptor bases in Alaska, and these complex systems require close cooperation with the states in which they are implemented.
I have personal actual experience about what I am talking about, and we -active duty- work closely with civilians and guard members of the DOD, which means that the governor -or governator in Cali- are involved directly.

I wonder how experience is Obama on foreign issues, Palin has been the same times in Irak that Obama has. Obama has zero executive experience and both are applying for an executive position. Obama as a senator only vote yes, no, present. So she has more experience than the democrat presidential candidate, and she is for VP. Obama inexperience is the big problem here, not Palin.
