Ukraine is the best country there is...I look at those places in the photos and remember how I've been there every day just until year and a half ago when we moved to LA. Not a day passes in which I dont want to go back

and before you do it visit kiev again for 1-2 weeks and compare your nowadays live to your past.

the mind always clears many negative information when it comes up to nostalgy.

i live ingermany for 9 years now and i dont miss my homecity (zaporozhye) after i visited it agian though zaporozhye is not that beatifull as kiev.

and most of my old school friends rly changed

kyiv has lot to do to improve its outlook.when i was there two years ago i saw shity streets,drunkies,dogs all around,branches of trees hanging down on walking sights on river bank etc.

In Kyiv Jan-April '07. There were street cleaner & garbage trucks regularly-citizens taking pains to sweep sidewalks & streets daily & store owners doing same in 20 below zero. I saw homeless huddled in parks, some Babushkas w/cups for their meager kopek. I gave them food. But NO one laying around drunk in Kyiv. By Paska, they were repainting lines on road & RR's by hand-painting bottoms of trees, tilling soil on any & every patch for regrowth. She's old w/wear & tear but she IS well loved! :-)

i love kiev...i visited almost all of western europe and many ccities in eastern europe too. i can honestly say kiev is my favourite, nice people, restaurants, culture, historical buildings, disco's and very pretty girls.

the ukrainians can be proud of such a lovely capital

I going to get my higher education the next year there. I'm so exited about it! It's a wonderful city. What makes it really special, though, is it's people. As soon as you get there, you can feel an unbelievable energy, fullfilling you.

Thoughts about my homecountry make me feel proud that I come from such a wonderful country.=)

we were at dico arena in the new year .realy good..olso patipa disco is nice but big as arena..

dont need to go to a museum there cause ewery where is full with history ,you just need to walk on the streets (aspecialy maydan).

I was born in Kyiv, and lived there for 6 years. My family moved to the US for economical reasons, but we always visit back whenever we can. I am 13 now. I have lived in the US for 7 years. About one of those years was spent in Kyiv. It is truly a place I can call home.
