I can agree with that if you are watching it in it's entiraty. But I think there should be longer videos on youtube. Espically now because I have to have something continously going to tell the computer I am still working. And by having this video playing, I only need to devote attention to it once every 30 or 40 minutes. Whereas if I click on many of the things on youtube, I would have to click on something new every 5 minutes or less. I say, keep it up.

This talk has some interesting information on Ebay's code base. Basically it's (almost) all done in Java, even generating pages and style sheets. The talk mentions (briefly) some in-house Eclipse plug-ins that are used to assist development e.g. by generating code or running code without having to go through deployment cycles. Dude, what? You replaced CSS with Java, but wrapped JavaScript with Java? That's not consistent. If you say you JavaScript + Java, then you'd have to say CSS + Java, or vice versa.
