@depfox Ahhh! You know what? It was def a combination of both. He was downplaying the car problems and I was telling him we needed to take it in so he refused and took us on a drive, far away - the tire got shredded and we had to return to exchange the car... I took the car to get fixed that morning but they needed him - it was all a mess and I was suspicious why things were taking longer than he said.
So glad you didn't change. You are wonderful just the way you are and one day someone will see that in you. Until then love yourself and I love ya so you're set. Stay sweet <3

I had a couple of very brief relationships like that, but I ended them right away when I knew they were wrong. Why stay in a relationship that isn't the right one? Going on 24 years now with my SO.
I really identify with the scene where you threw away the journal as a way of completely letting this person go. I'm in a really good relationship, but there are times I think back to my exes. Luckily, I've maintained good feelings with most of them, but there are a few that apparently wanted nothing to do with me again for some reason. And those were the ones that I wanted back.

Luckily, I've maintained good feelings with most of them, but there are a few that apparently wanted nothing to do with me again for some reason. And those were the ones that I wanted back.
But every time I read a text from my new guy, I think to myself..."fuck the rest, they aren't worth the thought"
