  • 32% of the Northern Territory is Indigenous and about 20,000 live in Darwin. Statement that the population doesnt reflect the history is not entirely true. Most Indigenous people in Darwin are not transient although there is a large transient population both Indigenous and non Indigenous. There is no proof whatsoever that Aborignal people migrated from elsewhere. This is a theory and should not be reported as fact. I am Aboringal from Darwin, born and bred so this doesnt ring true to me.
