I just got 2 rescued girl piggies and have been doing a lot of research to care for them properly. But everything I read is different. Some say use wood shavings, or aspen, some say never. I did get a c& c cage, though. Yours is nice. Mine is not here yet but is ordered. Can they eat raisins? Thanks.
If you're going to use bedding i'd recomend aspen more, its cost efficient and healthier for them. wood shavings are ok but aspen definately and fleece i heard is used by many as well i have been considering that for a while but i've just been used to aspen so thats what i stick to. as for raisins i wouldn't reccomend much because they're essentially dried grapes and are high in sugar. stick to the leafy greens like parsley, romain lettuce, carrots are good and fruits on some days.
The funniest part is that he started off black and white as a baby and now he's an adult he's started to develop a few brown streaks - but he's not a tortoise shell colour.

Well I havent noticed that because both my guinea pigs have a mix of black brown and white haha. I'm sure its normal though i think guinea pigs get a different fur coat when theyre older.

they're hilarious. my 2 guinea pigs were supposed to be two boys...you can guess what happened. my friends have the 2 babies-1boy 1 girl.
