Anyone know if "Safe In The Arms Of Love" is part of Martina's concert set???? If so, it should be.... I bet she would get lots of requests for it... She doesn't sing it very often, although it was a top 5 hit for her in 1995, and was the first single released from Martina's 3rd album, "Wild Angels"... Martina sang "SAFE IN THE ARMS OF LOVE" live at the 1996 CMA Awards!

With all respect to you and hfxmusicman, this is not a country song. It *was* played on country radio, and therefore an argument could be made, but it's really a great pop song. Not being a jerk, just noting that one doesn't need to like country to like this (I love it!).

country in the 90's sounded the best. it's just pure good music. people can say it's pop because to those who refuse it to be country cuz they think country music is gay. they rather call it something else to enjoy it. so many times i let my friend listen to a good country song and they like it til i tell them it's country. then they take their word back. it's alright, decent, meh country still sux, etc. people should just enjoy all types of good music no matter what genre it is.

I guess that I should point out that I love country music, especially late 80s/early 90s country. I don't say this song is pop because I think country music is gay, I say it's pop because that's what it sounds like to my ears. Isn't music supposed to be subjective?
