If the government wouldn't give student loans, the prices would have to come down. Students can't afford to load up on debt to get a degree that qualifies them to do nothing. Most of those kids are screwed to the wall. They better become engineers and leave the country.

I agree. I'm trying to be a successful blogger so I can move out of the country myself. I'm doing all that I can and once I become successful I'll save up money, buy gold and take a one way ticket to an Asian country of my choice.

What is wrong with people going to community colleges, it is within their means. They don't have to go to the private ones.

We live in a CAPITALIST economic system of inequality.

If someone can't afford to go to college then they can't go, end of story, this isn't communism or socialism where everyone is given the same chance. If you are born to poor parents who didn't save money you won't be getting a private college education.

If that's unfair then we need to change capitalism, but until then, people need to stop whining, and realize that if you don't have the money you can't get a private college education.

Yes .. it has become a money making racket for Universities , text book print companies etc .. The youth can get sucked in and stuck for years in the system .. and come out it deep in DEPT. .. the reality - work is work , learn on the job.

I agree dude, I wasted 2 yrs of my stupid Queens college for nothing. I was bullied by white trash imature boys.so I quit realizing that if I had stayed for 4 yrs, I'd most likely to work in a fast food place with a stupid BA degree which is BS.
