clip gives obvioulsy the answer. So the "huge" park in their backyard is "just" a bowl whit only a few obstacles for street skaters, so why he should skate there if there are only few none vert skating spots and why he should skate there if he is mainly obviously a street skater

As anyone who skates will tell you- nobody can GIVE you tricks, Riley Hawk had to learn all this shit just like everyone else.

His dad might be TH, but he still bleeds when he bails and still turns his ankle when he lands badly.

Sure, he's been given the best possible chance, but all his ability- and he's got loads- comes from practise and hard work JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE

His dad can give him all the equipment he needs to go and get better quicker. Plus his dad understands Skateboarding, because alot of parents think it's rebellious and think it's a gate way to start doing worse things, so his dad most likely to him to Skateparks or built him one.
