I've got the same bike with the full 2 brothers system. Never heard a meaner sounding set on one yet. As for loud no doubt its gotta be close to the loudest Ive found. I wont go into details but the cops said I was easy to follow after loosing their sight. He said they simply rolled down the windows and followed the sound. Needless to say Im looking into the silencer insert for certain rides. By the way nice bike man keep her safe

Know what u mean! In the UK it's insane these days with sound control. SO im sad to report I took off the system. The bike feels like a toy without it lol!!

I pitched up at a 98dB track day and did a drive by 5000prm = 110db! Lol...as you may have guessed II didn't take her on the track!

this bike comes with an exhaust muffler that has various valves etc. that open/close according to the engine RPM ..this is according to honda to maximize power output.doesnt switching to an aftermarket exahust interefere negatively with honda's tuning and research?

the Jardine slip on comes with a filler plate to hide the pipe, Two Brothers only makes slip on for 08 CBR1k. However if you were to compare any aftermarket header with stock one you'll only see a small increase in header pipe diameter no routing changes or significant design changes. hardly worth the additional $1k in price if u ask me. mine put down 173.5 to the tire. Jardine slip on, PCIII, Metric calibrator and BMC filter

So why spend the money if your running pure street? $1,500+ isn't fucking worth it. If you want to open it up by removing the cat then run MJS with your slip on.. Weight is only a factor for the track.

Headers come down to more of a science than just weight too. I mean I just have a slip on so i'm not arguing. They just also give a greater airflow which you can't get by just taking off the cat. Almost 2K for a full system no not worth it if only riding street.

Just rode the Canyons (SOCAL west of San Diego). I barely scraped my left puck and have less than a 1/4 inch of chicken strip! This bike is amazing!!!

Should be picking up my Two Brothers tomorrow for the same bike. Ran a full-system RS5 on my 05 1000rr, but had this system on my 03 600rr. It may not give the best horsepower gains, but at least drivers can hear you coming before they decide to cage you. Can't wait to hear it, will post it too.

Nice one, post it and send it on. The HP loss is definitely felt a bit (although it sounds so loud it hardly feels it!). Get a Power Commander to make up for HP loss. In fact it'll increase HorsePower.

Apparently the US has fuel maps for the new blade on Power Commander but not UK. So I'll have to run it on a dyno and get a manual fuel map programmed.

Nice extra cost going with GBP1.25 per litre of fuel (I'm poor but very content!)

That power tip will only quieten it by 3 decibels. You should do some videos of you riding the bike around, some take offs etc. This brand is the best sounding in the market without a doubt. Thanks.

Not sure. Probably knowing UK police. However I'm about to fit a silencer that takes about 6 decibels off, which should be just perfect. At the moment it's very very loud, but the deepness of the sound is truly unbelievable, especially the bass.
