  • Clobetasol comes in a cream or ointment. I paid about $70 for a small tube. Best $70 I ever spent. Over the years I have spent thousands, I've dieted, eliminated sugar etc from my diet. Exercised and whatever it took to get relief and nothing worked. THIS PRODUCT WORKED. be careful not to use for no more than twice per day in small amount on affected area and also NO MORE than 2 weeks and lay off of it for a while. Google this product to see the forums with people who like me have been cured. I

  • I've had psoriasis now for almost 20years. It just happened on a cold winter day on my way to work. I didn't realize until one of my co workers told me to look at my face in the mirror. The horror began and was a dream killer. My dream of becoming a great actor fizzled. Recently it resurrected with the use of Clobetasol. I'm now ready to show the world my talent almost 20 yrs late. Never lose hope

  • my father has psoriasis ( so do i ) but his twin sister didnt and she passed away 6 yrs ago .so i will live my life like everyone else ...good times and flare ups and wait and see how long im going to live ! nobody should say it shortens your life ...how much more stress is that for people ? i regard it now as part of me ( not a good part ) but you take me as you find me . im starting to think that there could be worse things to be afflicted by .

  • I 'cured' my psoriasis (it's in quotes, bc it will return if I am under heavy stress or prolonged usage of any of my trigger substances). It's multi-generational in my family.....with several of my aunts and uncles and my Grandfather all developing Rheumatoid arthritis.....I've found MANY things that help. It is a complex set of symptoms/manifestations as belleberceuse says, so KEEP trying things (even thing you tried in the past)....Apple Cider Vinegar (the kind with live enzymes) is helpful.

  • This video has the craziest mix of responses I have ever seen. Psoriasis is a very complicated disorder and it manifests itself differently in different people. It is often times far more than skin deep.

It's great that many of you have found treatments for the skin disorder, but for those of us who cannot find treatment and/or suffer systemically, kindly step off your high horses.

Also, it's not just stress that kills. I feel like you guys haven't read an article in 10 years.

  • @belleberceuse so true. Shortly after participating in this contest, I was diagnosed w/RA...read in a 30-yr Mayo Clinic study that it can, too, shorten your lifespan by 4 yrs. But all that doesn't seem to matter so much anymore...I was diagnosed this yr w/hereditary breast cancer, + lymph node, rt after battling Lyme disease. Right about "stress"...My fiancée (pictured in video) suffers more from Psoriasis, in fear of losing me. It's not so much the yrs which count, but the days...the moments.

  • If you want something natural that will put it to sleep go to ratfishoil dt com. Mine is about 98% gone now. The scientific name for this fish oil is Chimaera Monstrosa Linnaeus. It's a shark that lives 200m deep in the ocean. It worked for me and I've had psoriasis for over 13 years with psoriatic arthritis. I was taking Humera that was killing my immune system. I don't take this stupid poison medicine any longer. Ratfish oil team in Norway are awesome. They are a true God sent. Good luck.

  • I inherited it from my mother. She lived till she was 87.

  • who has used the anti tnf?

  • Ive been living with PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS and PSORIASIS for 35 years and It does not shorten your life in any way shape or form... Bad form for scaring people OP!

  • @BlacksnakemoanXXX ive had PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS for a year now.if u dont mind me asking what medication do u take?

  • @sonnyreddevil69 At the moment I'm using Dovobet Ointment and a range of products called Zeoderm! I am also undergoing Narrow band UVB treatment.... So far so good... :) For the pain however it just standard pain killers and not letting the joints stiffen up .. Neat Cod liver Oil is very good but the taste is not! YUCK! lol :) Also avoid Red meat and drink loads of water ...

  • Ok, it can't lower your death year, but it is pretty embarressing- I have it, too.

Lots of people aren't very gentle when coming up to ask "what the hell is on my skin"

  • this video is so fucking stupid - your life isnt made shorter with psoriasis, bullshit video

  • I take a table spoon of Aloe Vera Gel (yes, the kind for hair grooming) every other day and mine is pretty much cleared up after only a month. My psoriasis was quite severe. Your skin could experience some itching. Just don't eat too much! At worst it taste like you've licked your hair comb. I read about this cure viewing one of the video here on YouTube. A Filipino Guy, 'Worst case.'

  • Having psoriasis is a tough life it's really sad that you can't wear strapless or skirts because of psoriasis but I used Psoriasis Dermarest they ussually sell those at wal-mart n you will see the results in the first week it did worked for me n helps eliminate skin itch you can find Psoriasis Dermarest in the itch antiseptic section it's around 5-6 dollars by the way if have any questions please contact me

  • btw doesn't shorten your life by four years. There are really REALLY old people with psoriasis. Its an genetic autoimmune disease so the doctor you quote has it sorta backwards. Its been proven. Go to the national psoriasis foundation. Theres no evidence that supports it shortens your life either. You want action, go there. They have taken action for 30 years, i think it is. I've been with them for 15. They helped me as a kid to cope with my skin. Mine is controlled, so i don't worry about it.

  • Only one type of psorasis can kill you. ONE. Its an infected style. I've studied psoriasis for twenty years. Why? I recieved it when i was 6. My mother felt i should learn. If you want to fight the good fight, work with NPF. They are working with the government. There is a national psoriasis capital hill day too. Doubt you know this. NPF is also researching a cure. They have been around longer than these attention ads. They work to connect and help because psoriasis effects people emotionally

  • Garra Rufa fish straight from Turkey & their tank built 2 specifications by people from Turkey in the know, have helped with the ongoing treatment for Psoriasis for a friend of mine. Began to check it out for myself, as I've diabetes & need 2 simply maintain, since I can not visit the Dead Sea as often as I should, for ongoing maintenance of my own skin. I hope all will work out for you & pray that people will also recognise natural remedies with the research remedies you are calling for.

  • I have psoriasis, i've been on UVB light treatment - nothing, fumaderm tablets - nothing, aciatretane tablets - nothing. 4 years of going up to a hospital, then whilst waiting on blood results the doc signed me up to Tar therapy. The only treatment that has worked has been 10% tar. very messy! All clear now, it lasts for about two weeks then starts to come back, treat agian, good for around two weeks.

I think I will shorten my life, breathing in skin dust as you sleep can't bee good for you!

  • Not 50% , they say people with psoriasis have 10% higher chance of heart attack. But just try to stop stressing as it dramatically reduces your immune tolerance,

  • psoraisis is a skin fungus caused by yeast overgrowth in the gi tract, it cant go thru the liver fast enough to get cleaned so it leaks out the biggest organ on the body and that is the skin, that is why uv rays kills the fungus, try eating better foods and stay away from sugures, sweets and any carbs try reading the coconut oil miricle by bruce fife. you can beat this if you know what to do---the book is a good read and it will inform you--there is not enough room to tell you all there is to kno

  • @augustcat skin fungus,,, how did you get this info?,,,

if the cause of psoriasis is discovered then the cure could have been found too...

  • If i have mild psoriasis on my knees and one elbow does that lower my lifespan at all?

  • "psoriasis is big money for the medical establishment, so doctors only ever prescribe temporary treatments."

  • i started using MTX, in a small dose at the start it helped a little, ive since had my dose increased and im now 95% clear, i feel im ready to started dating again and it feels great, however, since starting to take MTX ive been losing hair, now im about 2 years into MTX i notice a fair amount of balding, its not massive but i can tell if i stay on this im going to be bald, not sure of what to do... clear skin or being bald

  • i have it on my eyelids, i really need a cure im only 12:(

  • It is caused by the leaky gut syndrome.

  • I think your interpretation of the study is incorrect. Psoriasis doesn't directly shorten a persons life. The results simply show within the study that people with psoriasis on average happen to have shorter lifespans. This could be for a number of different reasons perhaps people with severe psoriasis are more likely to have depression or be physically less active which can attribute to a shorter life span.

All studies are like this. Remember, correlation does not mean there is causation.

  • o yeah psoriasis sucks i rather have a terminal disease then a one that feeds on my suffering ..i laugh at that just not to make me feel sorry for my self LOL

  • just an idea the tumor cells that replicate like crazy and are the cause of psoriasis tend to become immune to substances , that is probably the reason why some treatments work for some people and don't for others, but which ever treatment u use might work for you for some time and eventually will become immune to it ...the only way to cure it is to generically recode NTF cell ...we are not there yet but soon..look into nanotechnology

  • I started a psoriasis blog if anyone is interested in checking it out, I'd post it but not without your permission because I don't wanna be a spammer (I don't sell anything on my blog btw) send me a message if your interested and i'll send you the link.

  • :I i have it, ive had it for like 16 years now. i defiantly agree that people should be more active on finding a cure for this...

It may not be deadly like cancer but it does change a persons life and confidence drastically..

  • It's possible Psoriasis is caused by Mycoplasma. I've noticed conditions/illnesses typically appear after some sort of major stress...chemical exposures/immune distress. My partner's severe Psoriasis showed up first after a bike accident (coma); my RA slowly after 9/11...move from NYC to LA w/a host of other huge problems. There are new forms of Myco engineered for germ warfare, which are more invasive, difficult to find & capable of causing severe diseases. Perhaps, we need more Myco research.

  • @sonyarose8 I don't know anything about Mycoplasma, but I have only gotten psoriasis twice in my life. Right after my grandmother died and currently as we speak. Both instances I felt really stressed out.

  • IT IS A YEAST INFECTION! CANDIDA OVERGROWTH! GET ON THE CANDIDA DIET AND SEE A HOLISTIC DOCTOR! DOING THIS HAS COMPLETELY CURED ME!!!!!!

  • This person is an idiot. I have one of the severe cases of this stuff and I never have been told that it causes death or shortens your life. I did a lot of research and in every article I read does not once say anything about your life being cut short or anything about death. Get your facts straight before you put up videos.

  • @Hyperspazzman Apparently, you did not do enough research. It strongly appears what you are saying to the government/general public: Do not participate in a group effort based on research/facts WHICH I LISTED ABOVE--to help raise funds for medical research (as here, severe Psoriasis). That it's nothing to worry about: It doesn't affect your life in any way, which I know personally it does. Wouldn't you like to wake up one day & it all be gone? Never come back again, the pain? I would like that.

  • @sonyarose8 Well, yes who wouldn't like it to be all gone! That is not the point here though. Your saying it shortens your life by 4 yrs. I see my doctor this Friday and I bet she will get a good laugh about this. My sister was a nurse for 37 yrs. She retired this year. She know ALL about this disease and said not once will you die from it. I read up on it a lot...never have I read that it ends your life early or can cause death at some point. I don't know where your getting your information.

  • @Hyperspazzman . after curing myself over the last 4 years from 26 years of skin troubles iv noticed a dramatic difference in stress and all other aspects of my health as a result; and as it's well known stress causes the release of chemicals hormones etc that harm our bodies and age us then id say its possible more over probable

  • @Hyperspazzman it shortens your life indirectly through the increased levels of cortizol brought about by stress. i used to suffer from Psoriasis and eczema and i can tell you that they are not diseases they are just symptoms of a contaminated body; cut out GMO's and and GMO fed live stock, cut out preservatives, sweeteners and flavourings like MSG, aspartame and potassium sorbate and i guarantee that your Psoriasis will disappear. also refrain from using pretty much all toiletries.

  • i have scalp psoriasis and on my legs and the product i am yousing its called Xamiol it works verry well after 2 weeks of treating it the redness was gone and it stopped itching for 2 whole months but OBS! yousing it to often will cause thinner skinn

  • Interesting channel. Thanks for the video upload. A 24 year psoriasis sufferer myself. I currently use UVB Narrowband for Psoriasis. Cleared Psoriasis in 6wks (noticeable difference in 3 wks). The right emollient is the key too!

Lack of Vit D can cause...

  • i have psoriasis ive had it since i was 7 years old now im 25, tried everyting its all over my boday mayby im just not meant to be on the planet i think its a reason to kill myself cause theres no point of living i cant get a girlfriend cant have kids which is my dream so really whats the point of scratching yourslef everday wasting money on stupid creams etc im fucken sick of this shit its a pain in the ass everyone looks at me like im a freakin alien whish i was goneeeeee

  • So what your telling me is that my Gran would have lived to 98 and not just into her nineties ! Sounds a good age to me ! Yes i have also had Psoriasis for over twenty years now. Exorex and UVB works wonders for me , i have 70 percent less on my body now !

  • Try Low Dose Naltrexone. I am beginning it today! I have P all over my body since I was 5 years old. I'm 48 now. I've tried everything from, coal tar, dead sea salts, diet changes, diprolene, lidex, all steroid creams, dovenex, psoriasis Tabs, Neem products, Aryuvedics, homeopathics, chinese med, Embrel, UVB, PUVA, you name it and i've tried it.oh and 2yrs i've eliminated all foods, allergy testing. I'll keep you posted on my results.

  • sonyarose8,

I had very bad psoriasis on my leg and my head for many years...It was itchy, flaky, weepy and bloody when I scratched and told I would just have to learn to live with it because I didn't like using steroid cremes etc. The day that I gave up bread, potatoes and sugar my leg cleared up ! I am still working on my scalp but the leg is still fine after three years ! There is some discolouration and scaring but it is amazing, my cronic heartburn was also cured, simply by diet alone !

  • i was diagnosed with psoriasis 6 months ago, and now i'm always in pain(yeah, it hurts, from rubbing against my clothing)

  • hey person that thumbed down im trying to boost our confidece i have it TO!

  • this ad is quite sad =(

but you have to keep living... so keep living and dont give up hope... there is a cure, and we have to believe their is, if there is cure for cancer, there is cure for psoriasis... maybe just not yet, but whatever can help you keep it under control... do that! its the best you can do!

  • like an itchy rash is going to kill us i mean what are they gonna do eat us?

  • Are you willing to try something natural, that works? A friend's son came back from Afghanistan with it, another friend from Vietnam. Stress and trauma triggers it, but it is already latent, inside. What is killed with sunlight? Fungus. You have to give the immune system what it needs, balance your gut flora, and clean out your liver. It's not too hard. My friend's son did an inexpensive parasite cleanse, then started a simple colon cleanse. He is totally clear. I'm just interested to help.

  • i recently did some research and people wit it are just producing too many whit blood cells

  • psoriasis shortens ur life 4 years??

  • yea thats why people hate it

  • Christ I hope so. I'm sick of it and don't want to live another 30 years with it.

  • omg i know right

takes the goodness of life away

  • Sorry....i forgot to mention the fact that cilantro is also one of the best things to use for the detox of mercury from the body, including the brain. So that's why i'm thinking my psoriasis is clearing up...because i'm getting mercury (and other toxins) out of my body...a "whole body detox" therapy may help your psoriasis conciderably!!!

  • Cilantro,a parsley you can buy in your local grocery store, has helped the severity of my psoriasis...using cilantro is something you have to stay on top of...fresh cilantro is what you want to try,NOT cilantro seasoning...eat a few grams a day in salads, spaghetti, etc. Can also steep some of the leaves in hot water with a bag of tea of your choice...i recommend "Yogi Tea" "Detox" brand...DETOX itsself helps the severity of psoriasis...AVOID ALL TOXINS

  • Comment removed

  • Try sea baths, avoid any form of heaty foods like tomatoes, watermelons, citrus and dairy for sometime. processed meat, sauces,Fizzy drinks, smoking drinking and breaking rest. Non fat milk is ok. Also visit a doctor that can test your allergies. Epsom salt baths help.

Am no doctor but I have lived with it for years. It can be prevents with diet and rest. It sounds simple but you need a lot of discipline.

sea baths works, use some diavobet where possible.

  • I do not believe psoriasis is really hereditary...no one in my immediate family has psoriasis...only an uncle on my grandmas side. I never had any problem with psoriasis till i was in my early 20's. I totally believe that my psoriasis was triggered by the amalgram fillings i had put in in the late 80's!!! So if it's hereditary, then why did i not have it sooner? Amalgram fillings, which contain 50% mercury, have been known to aggravate certain skin problems including psoriasis! Heavy metal detox!!

  • wow same here.. dam dentist..

  • The idiots in congress are never the answer to anything, let alone this.

  • Why in Gods name would you have kids havving this disease.Passing this onto them That's a form of cruelty in itself.I've had this for years and can barely walk at times even with my treatments supliments pills ect.Imaging if you're kid caught it what would that childhood be like

  • You yourself shouldn't have kids with a mindset like that.

I'm 19 years old with psoriasis all over my head. My uncle had it. Not my mom, or my dad.

LOTS of people have psoriasis. This isn't aids and it's not cancer. It's not deadly. It's a fucking skin disease.

and also, I've had it since I was 5 years old. I've still managed to have plenty of girlfriends and friends in general. It RARELY interrupts my social life.

  • @PatrickBooya ur lucky or ur gfs and friends are weird, if u have it all over ur scalp and it isnt a skin disease its actually an internal problem with ur immune system, which i dont get how come they cant find a cure if they know where the sorce is coming from!!!

  • @kevinoophamaa

It's both then. since it is on your skin. it's related with skin diseases. My gf's are weird? maybe they don't care if I have this disease? hell, not many of them notice it. I just hope I don't go bald. lol

It's pretty much all about the money. I'm sure they could find a cure for this easily.

  • The Curecom has the point everyone is missing...first it's in your DNA and diet is false info secondly the rubbing on oils/ointment is the best way.. a women here is rubbing DooGro oil..I use Emu Oil DO NOT SCRATCH like this guy it spreads like fire,,rubbing oils even baby oil will get rid of it...Dovobet is a scrip from the doctor and works overnight..oils take longer , and healthier , but works..RUBBING make sure you wash your hands after touching the area..washing and rubbing...DON'T scratch

  • Everyone responds differently to treatments and none of them are guaranteed. I tried the eating right and drank nothing but water forever and mine got worse. What did help me was finally breaking down and seeking the help of a dermatologist that gave me 2 shots of a steroid called Kenalog and a topical gel, Clobetasol. Both work wonders but not a cure, but still the quality of my life is so much better than it was. Hope this helps someone.

  • okay so Kenalog is for the arthritis and CloBETasol is for the skin, DovoBET is safer and just as fast, Asprin and alcohol are bad..both aggravate arthritis use Emu Oil it's slower but works..and you need to use it everyday to keep the redness and itch ..

  • Actually Jeyrill10's comment is not totally wrong. Diet has everything to do with almost every health diseases out there. I had psoriasis for nearly 10 years and now its healing itself naturally so long as I keep up a good lean healthy diet and exercise...plus its free with no side effects. =D

  • me too

  • Jeyrill10 is 100 percent wrong ! Psoriasis is not a diet issue and has nothing to do with diet . or eating bananas and rice. thats a quack theory

I've had Psoriasis for about 8 years now. Light has an effect on it... bright light . If you got a way to ultra violet light you have a way to make it go down and regress . but it wont completely kill it off .

It's possible tanning beds might have an effect on it

  • lights are good "D" is better...rubbing oils on is even better but don't rub past the spots as it will spread...no scratch either..we can infect ourselves but not others..rub moisture on it as much as you can and wash your hands after..

  • you have to belive me i also taking a red coffee from dhynapharm its really helped me

  • What in the fuck are you talking about.

You know the whole UV light is a quack theory too. Obviously.

If it wasn't we'd be using it right now in the doctor's office somehow. That would be a cash cow for them.

  • psoriasis has no mercy in where it wants to develop.

  • Humira is the Best Drug out there..Go look into it

  • I have found a cure to psoriasis

    > You need to purchase Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol, cotton balls and Polytopic Antibiotic Ointment

    > Wet the cotton balls with the alcohol and rub onto your red psoriasis to clean the area thoroughly

    > Wet the cotton balls at least 3 times to clean the area.

    > Then rub some polytopic ointment on the redness.

    > I usually do this in the morning and at bedtime.

    > My psoriasis has disappeared.

  • most creams just rub the psoriasis back into your skin., the diet is bullshit, alcohol and tobacco make it worse. just stay in the sun .. I also reccomend seeing your most trustworthy Naturopath, although some are bullshit/expensive i know one that cured my little brother with petroleum pellets who had it as well. Overll i think everybody has there own cure, different things work for different people especially with psoriasis.

  • i agree, although i use taclonex some which has helped, nothing is as good as the natural Sun to help keep it away, the sun helps a lot

  • I have psoriatic arthritis and I am on methotrexate, which does not allow you to go in the sun because there is a high risk of skin cancer. So I cannot go in the sun to help my severe psorasis...

  • "most creams just rub the psoriasis back into your skin..."

I know you're just trying to help, but this statement is simply false. Please be more considerate over what you say, people with chronic illness can at times become quite desperate and will try anything to find a cure. Spreading false knowledge (even unwittingly) is not helpful.

    Regards, Michael

  • okay well sorry if i am wrong but id like you to show me proof of somebody that was cured from head to toe with a simple "cream" i have been trying natural remedies because that is what cured my brother

  • An announcement .. Were detected on the treatment of psoriasis in Tripoli, Libya-day treatment period III only and never ends psoriatic INQUIRIES; .

  • That may have to do with the fact that many with psoriasis have accompanying conditions--typically diabetes and arthritis. What I don't understand is that it's obvious that RA/PA and psoriasis are linked somehow because most biologics available were meant for these conditions and happen to help psoriasis...so how hard is it to find a cure based on this knowledge?

  • 50% death rate? t.where are you getting this information from? and what does that even mean? die 3 years before what...why? does the statistical data include any other life factors for why these people die earlier- maybe the psoriasis is not the cause but one of the symptoms of a poor lifestyle.

thanks. im not being disrespectful, i've had psoriasis since i was five. i just dont want people to be misinformed.

  • Information was found on the Psoriasis Cure Now Organization (Four Years) website. It stated: In a recently published study found that severe psoriasis is associated with an elevated mortality rate. Severe psoriasis reduced life expectancy by 3.5 years for men and 4.4 years for women. "That's significant. It's 5% of the life span," says the study's lead author, Joel Gelfand, MD, an assistant professor of dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia.

  • @sonyarose8

that is incompletely inaccurate. Psoriasis doesn't kill you. Even people with severe case doesn't have significant decrease in life span. Psoriasis is a type of cancer that is not deadly but annoying.

People who die from psoriasis mainly dies from stress because of annoying skin problems. Psoriasis itself does not cause death, its the stress that causes death and lead people into depression.

  • @441meatloaf I created this video out of major concern for those suffering w/severe Psoriasis. These were not my words but that of researchers, like Joel M. Gelfand, MD...Facts taken from a long study pd.--stating those w/severe psoriasis are @ increased risk w/a wide range of chronic conditions, incl. heart disease & diabetes. Elizabeth Horn, Ph.D. of IPC, said, "One theory is that this chronic inflammation impacts our organs & systems within the body." Believed now to be an autoimmune disease.

  • @sonyarose8

thats not a very accurate. Psoriasis doesnt kill us. inflammation is due to the bacterial infection from the outside environment. People who have psoriasis have weakened skin.

  • @sonyarose8

Psoriasis is a cancer since the cells acts the same way as cancer does constantly repoducing and causing damage. But cancer kills, psoriasis doesnt. Is it an auto-immune?? Psoriasis has never been considered autoimmune for fact that the body immune system doesnt attack ourselves.

Autoimmune meaning our own white blood cells attack the body itself causing damage.

  • @sonyarose8

Psoriasis is a cancer cell that lacks the UAG stop codon in the RNA. What that codon does is it stops the skin cells from reproducing. Each cell in our body has a signal that tells its neighboring cells to stop reproducing.

Psoriasis being a cancer is the same, it lacks the codon and cells just dont know when to stop reproducing. And psoriasis has already been concluded that its a genetic disorder and many people who have the skin disease is obtained from their family history.

  • @sonyarose8

Even you probably have the genetic disorder for psoriasis its just that the right factor activation never happened to those people so they dont get it.

Maybe you should stop paraphrasing from websites and actually take advance bio. Even if those are doctor names there are many websites who pretends they know the cause.

  • @441meatloaf Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease NOT a "type of cancer" you're going to scare people !!

  • I have psorriasis it sucks

  • @rockingchild99 i agree brother shit sucks bad i hate it,it never stops itching...

  • im trying a method that proves effective for getting rid of warts that i have heard is effective for psoriasis...duct tape. by keeping it on for a period of time it is said 2 take care of it. like i said im trying it now in hopes that it works.

  • My husband just recently was diagnosed with psoriasis. Can it grow worse over time, will he need anything in particular. He was prescribed a cream that works a little but it is so sad to see anyone like this suffering.

  • It can get worse but equally it can get better, sometimes it will just go.

My advice, apply cream when it itches (never pick the plaques) and if one cream doesn''t work in a month-discontinue and try a new one. There are so many out there.

  • im having PUVA. and I hate P. I dont want to have kids cause i dont have to inherate it to them.

  • psoriasis sure pisses me off. i hate lazy fatasses with nice skin. yeahy and fuck the diet thing nothing works for whole body cases.

  • Hi all, I've had psoriasis for half of my life & wow what a humbling disease. I think the worse thing is the mental damage this disease does to one's image & self confidence. My mom's from Ecuador & there's this doctor that found a cure. There's a soap & creme called "Euderma" very affordable this stuff is incredible, it make take some time, but where I used it the psoriasis went away and never came back over 3 mnths now! It cured my mom. I'm going to start again soon just ordered some more!

  • where i could get soup and cream???did the product available in america??

  • psoriasis is a diet thing. change your diet if you want relief

  • i believe in you psoriasis is a diet issue...u must eat only banana with rice in just a month,,,im sure it will gone

  • Psoriasis- serious autoimmune disease!

Most of the drugs prescribed for severe psoriasis are really really toxic-Methotrexate, Ciclosporin, Retinoids...etc

Things get even more complicated if you suffer from other problems like high blood pressure and heart failure.

Fumarate/Fumaric acid esters do look like the way forward. I know they're licensed in Germany and Netherlands. Don't know much about side effects but certainly should be researched and possibly tried as treatment for sufferers.

  • If you google leangreencafe on blogspot, you will see my last post on psoriasis. Mine is gone long ago. Diet, lowering stress, more sun for vitamin D and calcium absorption and most important-the right natural food supplements work to clear it. Medication causes side effects and acidosis, setting up more disease. There is one probiotic on the market that will balance the gut, and is patented to get 100% in the colon. End of story. Alkaline water helps. My unit is 9.1pH for $220. Check it out!

  • have you heard of this med oral fumarate -I think experimental drug - is it used for this disease?

  • No, I haven't...I will have to research it.

  • Contact Doc Leshin he can help you. Check out his YouTube - he knows what he is talking about. Key in "kangen water" and you can find him. He helped my mom. She is at peace after 17 years with this stuff. Don't knock it - try it. Its just water.

  • I'm a 40 yr old male, I had Psorisis since I was 7. Last week I was given "Clobex", the visual signs of Psoriais is all but gone. NO JOKE. As long as you have insurance, if not it's $440. for a 4 oz bottle. This is the only product that ever worked for me.

  • Hey thanks; I'm sure it's been very frustrating. I'll have to recommend this product to others who are struggling through. Let me know how it goes down the road. I'd be very interested. Have a good day :)

  • Clobex is clobetasol propionate, that is a corticosteroid. It doesn't heal the disease just its appearance, because it is used to treat inflammation. Once you stop using it, psoriasis revenges and becomes stronger. Besides, excessive use of corticosteroids and steroids in general, can produce liver cancer and glaucoma.

  • The best you can do is to regulate the diet and life style. Avoid diary products and its derivatives, fat, fried food, meat, gluten-containing food (pasta, bread, white flour, rice, corn, wheat), sugar, and any manufactured food. Otherwise do eat, green salads, specially lettuce and celery, meat from swimming and flying animals, fruit (avoid berries, nectarines and oranges), oatmeal, honey (for sweetening), cinnamon, tea, olive oil, zucchini, potatoes, onion, carrots, natural yoghurt, etc.

    Best

  • THANKS for the tips. Mine flared up after having strep throat. Clobex took away the build-up of scales and greatly reduced the redness. But I don't use it much. When I do use it I put plastic wrap over it all night to keep it on the skin. looks like I'll have to grow a garden. thanks again.

  • WHat is this 50% death rate?? THat freaks me out what?!

  • During a study pd., patients w/severe psoriasis had a 50% increased risk of death compared w/patients who did not have psoriasis. Men w/severe psoriasis died an average of 3.5 years younger than men w/o psoriasis, while women w/severe psoriasis died 4.4 years earlier than women w/o psoriasis. It implied to people who did not get the proper care/+risk factors were involved. Not everyone can improve his/her overall health, w/o the proper treatments/therapy; contest was to raise awareness & funds.

  • One doctor said it doesn't matter what the disease is called, it's about balancing the ph and ridding yourself of acidosis. Medications injure people with their side effects, and further acidify them. Google leangreencafe on blogspot. The last blog is about psoriasis. Mine is absolutely gone. No drugs. It's about diet, sun for vitamin D and calcium , lowering stress or recognizing times of stress, and using the right food supplements. Promise.

  • if sum1 diagnosed w/ paoriasis,what he'll'she'll eat??tell food to avoid

  • I am just now reading this question. The first thing is to avoid the whites:sugar, flour and shortening. Get sun. You need D to fight disease and cancer and build bones, etc. Avoid meds. Use supplements to build your immune system and counteract fungus. Use the Hulda Clark parasite cleanse, and then MMS. Check out psoriasis on my blog. leangreencafe on blogspot. My best.

  • let me tell u that i only eat banana for just a couple of a month and took food supplement and if sum1 had the desease,he/she needs to do it just for a couple months, but after that,he/she can eat everthing but stop drinking at smoking and also eating preservative and take sum vitamin for the liver for maintenance coz psoriasis is connected from the liver damage

  • I second (third?) the suggestion to avoid all dairy products and meat! You will benefit from getting those unnatural products out of your diet in many, many ways.

  • stop eating chicken related viand, keep eating fruits and vegetables, avoid dairy products and drink water frequently!

  • Wow... this one is definitely hard hitting, impactive... gets to the point and doesn't mince words... great job!

  • Thanks Bear. My goal here for the second straight year in the "Psoriasis Cure Now!" contest was just to make people aware of the horrors like psoriasis. Get more money funded for it by the Government. Though, I think that I'm done here. Psoriasis was first described around 35 AD, and still no cure all. If a video that shows the heart and soul of one man affected for real, the true reality of it, does not do the trick; then, I don't know what to say or create anymore...

  • I read that Psoriasis means a lot of Calcium in the body and a Sulpher deficincy. A friend of mine stoped eating dairy products, and took about 5 gram daily of MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane). His Psoriasis gone in 2 weeks.

  • That's really amazing. Thanks for commenting. I think every person has different types and severity of Psoriasis. Although, last week, I kicked a lot of dairy products out of my diet and feel really good, more energy. I was told to drink Almond Milk instead and eat more organically (to help rid any allergies/sinus problems that I have).

  • Well done!

  • Thanks!

  • Hard hitting and to the point... thanks for sharing!

  • Always a nice comment by you. Hope you're enjoying the weekend. Catching a good wave~

  • Great job, Sonya!

I hope you do well in the contest.

    Damon

  • Thanks Damon for stopping by and for your support. Hope things are well~

  • Nice music!!!

    ;)

I wonder how much diet can affect the disease. I feel so strongly about diet and exercise. Or perhaps an intense fast to cleanse the entire system and remove the introduction of all foreign substances to see if the body can heal itself... The body is an amazing thing if we give it the chance of doing it's work without undue stress (stress - I mean from crappy foods, sugars, etc.)

  • Psoriasis is very complex & perplexing. You could carry the gene but never develop problems. If you do, there are many added risk factors which can make the condition even worse: taking certain drugs, having an unhealthy immune system/high levels of stress, prolonged/excessive exposure to toxins. I've never seen it completely go away except in the mature stages of life. My mother had it on her arms mostly; it seemed to finally disappear upon retiring.

  • Psoriasis is very heavy.

And its so hard to get it even enlightened or bettered a little bit.

  • Yes it is--heavy. I hear having Hope--Faith does help to a certain extent. In this way, the PCN contest was nice to participate in.
