There is a stretch of US Route 1 in Northern Viginia that is also named the Jefferson Davis Hwy. I wonder how long it will stay that way before the Politically Correct crowd tries to rename it.

I live in Charlotte, NC. There is Stonewall St here, which is named in honor of Stonewall Jackson's widow, who settled in Charlotte after the war of Northern Aggression ended. When seeking to name a street in honor of Dr Martin Luther King Jr, the PC crowd sought to rename Stonewall St to MLK Blvd. MLK was a great man, however, there are more than enough streets in Charlotte to name one after him without stepping on other peoples toes. Eventually they did rename another road after Dr. MLK.

They need to extend it all the way north up into Maryland and all the way back down South, down to where it meets up with the Cracker Trail here at 70 and all the way down to the Southern most point in Dixie. Mr. Davis deserves NOTHING less.
