  • @Alusaint Do it correctly, there's not really any tips.

  • @laxwolf do what correctly

  • this easy and more beaty if u use atmophir

  • @mynameismrdragon87 um... what?

  • @laxwolf i mean it more easy and beauty if u use atmophir software ..hahaha

  • @mynameismrdragon87 Oh, well I wouldn't know. I also wouldn't want to learn a new engine and develop a game in one week for a competition.

  • @laxwolf ooo i see . i just want give some opinion . im not using that anymore now i go to learn unity3d . i fell very headache. if u has any idea give me . but dont spam my mail

  • You are amazing never stop doing what your doing man you shud sign up for making indie games or something :D

  • Pretty wackadooldle, Laxy. Is this the sequel to "Snakes On a Plane"?

I played your audio-only game last night. I thought it was very cool. A neat approach. And I liked the sound effects.

Have you ever considered doing a textbased choose-your-own-adventure sort of game, where the character makes choices and affects the storyline? Those were all the rage when I was a teen. I really enjoyed some of them. You could combine it with audio games and little vidgames like this one.

  • @MartianStories Thank you! That's actually a really good idea. My friend is currently working on a text-based game and it's excellent. I don't know if he posted it anywhere but his name is EMPZHAR and signed it - Emo on his comment below.

  • @laxwolf Hey, very neato. I loved that stuff when I was a kid. One cool thing about YouTube is that with annotations, you can set up a menu system on your videos, and give the audience a choice tree. At the end of a vid, they can pick a choice, an action for the hero to take. They click they choice, YouTube cycles to another vid based on the URL that you feed into menu system. I've been wanting to make an animated YouTube game. They watch a vid, make a choice, go to the next animated chapter.

  • keep it up cousin :D

  • witch is easyer to make 2d games or 3d? :>

  • @Tinak00777 When I first started to make 2d games, it was really hard.

3d is harder overall because you have to do everything (texturing, modeling, ect.)

I'm lucky to have some really good scripts at my disposal to make 2d game creation easier.

  • @laxwolf whats a good place to start learing scripting?

  • @Tinak00777 There are lots of books on Python Scripting and looking through the script library on Tutorialsforblender3d helps a lot.

  • cool :D looks like a browser game :P

  • @MrVecheater That's good, I wish it was xD So much easier to share a game when it loads up in a webpage.

  • @laxwolf yeah that's a problem with blender ^^ but maybe it's possible in the future ^^

  • Looks great Wolf! Keep it up, you totally can win this contest, and i hope you do! ^^

    - Emo

  • @EMPZHAR Thanks man! I will!

  • How DID you make the dialog? A dialog tutorial?? please?

  • @fullgrown31 A simple script that adds one letter at a time. Each line has a property value so you just assign the next one. Don't know If I should make a scripting tut cause people will just batter me for the script.

  • @laxwolf aw. okay.. it would help a lot though.

  • hopr you win man :D

  • @Thirtysecondtoons Thanks! :D

  • I think you have lots of imagination and a nice future. Finish a project is important, also work into teams... but is not strict necessary to improve as game designer. Everything will come soon or later.

Nice job! I would like to know how to program as you do, Keep going on your duty, and don´t listen trol comments

  • @Aelfuu Thank you! I've switched my career path to being an engineer to a game designer. Thanks again.

  • wow this is great!

  • @AhendeArt Thanks a lot!

  • i love ur games xP i wanna play this!

dont listen to the loosers they dont even know how to turn the startin cube to a ball..

  • @DLRthe1st lol, thank you!

  • Cool. I like the retro look and the music is great. I'm wondering if just having his dash/charge ability just charge slowly on it's own might be a better design choice than having to rub up against the glowing luggage? Just a thought.

  • @rorkimaru Well, he turns tangible items into energy to charge up. He can pick up weapons too and charge. Thanks!

  • this is very very cool

  • @IIZODIIAC Thank you!

  • Do you still use a Blender 2.4x build?

  • @Blender3DProjects Yes :D I'm switching after Totraum is finished.

  • Don't listen to that douche.

It doesn't matter if you don't finish them, Whatever you work on just makes you better, until you find something you really want to stick with.

    Looks great by the way.

  • @PureT3x4n Thank you. Totraum is the gaming I'm going to stick with by the way. It's to quality a game to ditch.

This game is going to be finished, I've spent a week of my summer creating it and it would be a total waste to scrap it.

  • @laxwolf I think it looks great and would love to play the finished product.

  • Sadly you won't finish this like all your bender games :(

  • @yugiohonline26 Well, thanks for the encouragement asshole. Yes I will, cause it's for a contest and it's worth a lot to get it finished including recognition by thousands on an extremely popular Indie Games website and satisfaction of winning. I haven't ditched on any of my recent games, Totraum is still in development. You can go beyond the realms of Youtube and visit my website or BA threads where I update my projects daily or weekly.
