  • great to see us turks around the whole world :D

I remember going to a turkish restaurant in Osaka, several years ago.

  • I am glad i've born in Turkey. I bet that guy makes it delicious but you should see it in it's own place. Contact me if you'd have a chance to visit Istanbul. I'll treat you with the best kebab you'll ever taste. :D

  • the best kebab in japan is turkish and its served with ketcheup and musterd? yaki

  • You know, I haven't watched any of your videos for a year since I got into a new hobby and started using my other YouTube account. But I feel like I wanna go back to my old account and watch the things I missed out in here.

    I really miss "Hey guys..."

  • Thank you for this video. I was interested in this particular topic and now you have covered it. Great, thank you.

I eat kebab with French fries about every week. The immigrants who run the place do not speak my language well but every time we manage to make a deal!

This warms me heart - if I come to Japan, I can get kebab as well.

  • Man, that guy seems so friendly and the kebabs look delicious. I'll have to go there.

  • Was the meat halal?!

  • I would drop by just for that.

  • thats mexican "tacos al pastor" thing

  • Cup kebab (0.38)??? Well, I guess OK if you wanna skip the calories in the roll..

  • its Turkish Kebab yep :)

  • we in germany call this DÖNER KEBAP ^^

  • @msadids

    In Japan too.Its doner kebab,

Why? Because "doner" means "rotate" in Turkish.

"kebab" is "roasted meat".But we usually call kebab.

  • Where's his helmet? Kebab making is dangerous business.

  • All Kebab shops I've seen in Tokyo run their business with vans and go around Tokyo urban areas. I love very very spicy one.

  • Comment removed

  • YUMMY

  • What, no Chelo Kebab?

  • man....those kebab stands are everywhere....

  • I have never had a kebab in my life and right now that looks yummy

  • @TrillianAlice my friend in that case you havent been born either, go find yourself an extra spicy kebab

  • @groundmoves0318 Will do : )

  • so how open are japanese people to being served by a non-japanese? just curious

  • Mmm that looks very good. o.o

  • We have a kebab corner stand here in Yokosuka. So delicious!

  • mouth watering....... o.o

  • Great man!

  • heeeeeey i am turkish :p and this is the first time i see something turkish in japan P

  • Wow that looked SooOOo Good!!!

I nice yummy sandwich, nice scenic ultra modern town, everyone smiling at you.. It's the little things that have such a big beautiful impact on life. (^_^)

  • Thats amazing, he can speak three different languages! 0_0

How on earth did he end up in Japan?

  • @H0tkebab Not sure whats so amazing about that. Maybe it's because I'm European, but I do not find anything amazing about knowing 3 different languages. It's odd tho he speaks English with a Japanese accent. So he might have learned Japanese before English.

  • @KevinArcade Yeah. Almost every friend of mine knows at least three languages and for example I myself can speak three languages fluently and know the basics of two other languages; so in total I can speak five different languages. But this is not the topic of this video so enough of that.

Even though I am not that amazed of how there are people that know multiple langues in Japan, I am glad how TJC brings these English friendly businesses to our knowledge. Keep up the good work! ;)

  • @H0tkebab I can speak Tagalog,Visaya,English and Japanese

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom No gloves adds "natural" flavor to the food...LOL I'm sure he washes he hands often. =) Looks crazy good though =D

  • Whatta Turk:P

  • Did he say "Big-Ass Kebab"??? LOL

    Nice

  • that dude is awesome!

  • I would love to try that as well, thank you for the video.

  • He works alone?

  • I assumed he didn't speak any Japanese from the start. It must have been very hard for him to start a business.

  • What a cool guy ! So nice to see a happy person in a restaurant :) I'd have to try to order a veg kebab but I would enjoy the happy chips. Happy chippy :p

  • nice one, thanks. one of these days i want to go to a place that has the meat on a skewer like this and just buy the whole thing. making me drool watching this.

  • r u married??

  • Great guy. Most don't realize the very close grammatical similarities of the Turkish language to Japanese. It's somehow counter-intuitive but true.

  • @blondecrazygaijin Is he actually a native Turkish speaker? Although there may be some similarities all aspects of his facial expression, body language and accent lead me to think he's a native of Japan.

  • @TheJbomber Well, it's pretty clear that since he's caucasian he's not a native of japan.

  • @ScoundrelzNTwK I meant to say, as I did in a prior post, a native Japanese speaker not a native of Japan. Although also mean native in terms of where he was born.

  • @TheJbomber right, the fact thats hes white still applies, so lets make it easy white=not native japanese speaker or born in japan, get it? it really doesnt matter if you think his body language is accurate or not, he's white dude.

  • @ScoundrelzNTwK This has turned into an unnecessary discussion. That fact that a person is white does not preclude them from being (a) born in any country and/or (b) speaking any language as their first and native language.

  • Thumbs up for the culinary delight! Döner Kebap tastes great, but I prefer Dürüm (the rolled one), spiced with some hot Pul Biber.

  • Hahah, it's nice to see my people in foreign countries selling the best kebabs. Btw you MUST try the Turkish ice cream. The best ice cream ever.

     Greetings from Turkey :)

  • I'm going to be in Nagoya next summer...so going! 8D

  • ...after seeing this video, I'm going down to my local Kebab store to devour on a Kebab.

  • Hmm that made me want kebab....but I give him 3... stars foor look of food and 5 stars on customer service..... Not many people remember their customers or try multiple langauges to serve cuatomers

  • Oh my gosh that looks so good. My mouth started watering! Wow.

  • Schwarmas...I remember eating a few of them in Israel.

  • I've been thinking of moving to Japan and opening a restaurant. My wife is from Tokyo so we'd probably be moving there. Do you see a lot of restaurants owned by foreigners? And does it in any way effect their business?

  • That looks really good. Hope the free advertising helps his shop!

  • huray

  • got to be better than the grease pit that is star kebab in akihabara.

  • Turkish kebab all around the world, yay! ^-^ happy to see this place as a Turkish person planning to go to Japan.

  • Yummy! Here in Vienna, we have those shops everywhere. :)

  • hes so cute :P

    his accent.

  • LOL, i gotta get drunk, fly to Japan, and find this place!?!

  • @Sinjinator what in other countrys you do that too? here in germany its classic to eat kebab when you are going home drunk ;D

  • @Mahaweilo haha I grew up near Germany, that's why

  • thanks for the awesome video looks yummy

  • this makes me wonder does japan have kosher or halal food / restaurants ? i would assume not only being a foreigner would be hard but also being religious would be hard also

  • @lolitakayla I have seen koser and halal food in Akihabara restautants. I assume they exist in other parts of Tokyo too.

  • Didn't think Japanese would like those kind of kebabs.

  • nice to see a 画人 in your video more please

  • Hm... This must be the FIRST gaijin-owned business showcased on Japan Channel, no?

  • Random! I was just looking up what ingredients were in these yesterday.

  • wow Döner & Yufka in Japan! I wouldn't have thought there could be one.

here in Germany you can find Kebeb shops everywhere!

  • turkiye pwned by lithuania !

  • Gipsy Kings playing in the background.

  • Grr... I want a gyro now, but I'm stuck in the hospital eating hospital food.

  • @ichigo8504 that stinks :/ Don't know why you're in the hospital but I hope you get well soon :) <3

  • @ichigo8504 Oh, just the infection in my uterus after I had my baby came back, and a blood clot in my right ovary. Nothing too big.

  • I like watching your vids, especially this one, which has an english-speaking worker. So far, I've watched all of your uploaded videos, including ones on your alternate channel, and will continue to watch them as they show up.

    *BIG THUMBS UP*

I want to see a drunk japanese man one day, maybe I shall go here one day and see for myself :D

  • @BOT101st Haha, same in Norway.

    It's damn good, though.

  • @sjureman

    Aye to that :D

  • Kebabs are wonderful!

  • mmmm

  • You can see he's not Japanese, he is not wearing the gloves :P

  • @DuartChannel haha

  • @DuartChannel You're joking right?! People in Japanese-side stalls almost NEVER wear gloves :O

  • @AkitaTom Yes, it's a joke and a reference to other videos of JapanChannel, where we see people wearing white gloves.

  • @DuartChannel and has a clearly no-japanese accent?

  • I find it unusual when a Japanese-speaking Caucasian is not a native English speaker only because I am not accustomed to it by virtue of the fact that I grew up in an English speaking country. I am assuming he is a native Japanese speaker. When I first saw the Ken Tanaka videos I was similarly surprised.

  • If you are in Eastern Canada, try some "donair"! They're very tasty! :3

  • kebabs are awesome!

just wondering is there alot of kebab stores over there?

  • "big size man".

Lol how tall are you man? 6'4?

  • DEAR GOD IM HUNGRY!

  • Turkish people living in Japan are the nicest ever!! i met a bunch of them most have their own cars that they serve Kebabs and Shawarma from in certain festivals and some have permanent restaurants like this and their such nice, down to earth people that i always enjoy interacting with.

Much love for Turkey from Saudi Arabian students in Japan also much love for TheJapanChannelDcom keep up the good work guys^^

  • I made a comment about Donnar Kebabs in the Curry video and I guess this video answered it.

  • wow that looks tasty ^^

  • how I've missed kebabs - i love chips and kebabs

  • i am turk and i eating kebab doner so much in turkey =) i hope i will eat kebab in japan in the furure =)

  • I love Kebab's and Japan.

  • so he speaks Turkish, German (probably), English and Japanese... SHITTTTTTT that guy has skill!

  • @ChristopherWachtler He just uses the tools of his job.

  • @ChristopherWachtler english, german, dutch(main language) and french belgium is a four language country

  • @rosavanwinkle Switzerland: Romansh, German, French, Italian Switzerland is also a four language country.. actually English and Swiss German have to be added as well.. so 6 xD

  • @ChristopherWachtler and you learn all those in school like we do or not?

  • @rosavanwinkle We learn SwissGerman as the first language in the German part, In primary school we learn German, as you know it, later we learn French and English. If you go on to a higher school you can learn Spanish, Italian and Russian. Romansh is a nearly dead language and only spoken in a few corners of Switzerland (same as German in Belgium). Italian is spoken in the South and French in the West. Normally you go out of school with 4 languages or 5 if you are a immigrant (normally Turkish)

  • someone correct me if i am wrong but i never expected Greek foot in japan.
