*sigh* Adam and the Ants was the UK group that originally created this song. They're essentially the sort of actual 80s band along the lines of Men Without Hats that No Doubt is channeling here.

Regardless, this version is fine on its own, but, as with most covers, it pales in comparison with the original, and it simply gets a slightly worse image because it's trying to duplicate something that was already good.
