yea the 1/2 windsheild does help. but it has a draw back. it stops a lot of stuff from hitting you in the face, blocks the COLD wind off your face, if you duck down a little. but the draw back is, it is a dust magnet. the tires can toss up so much stuff that you will drive right into, it is really unsafe to drive with out any Eye protection, with out, at least the 1/2 windshield.
