@Gilch30 Your a dumbass for responding to a Comment I made a year ago before the Oscars. Dumbass. But thanks for reintroducing me to a comment I made from a year ago that I forgot about Dumbass
thanks for posting this! I was looking for a decent tribute vid, and here it is. It was made when he was still alive (same for John Candy), and at the top, so that's even better.
Thank you John Hughes for everything your work will live on forever as my 12 year old brother wants to watch Ferris Buellr Day Off everyday since he seen it last year
Thanks for making this "skinny white kid" laugh and cry in the 80's! The way you poked fun at mainstream middle America was funny and never mean spirited.
He tapped into our psyches...even if it was his own. he got it out there. man
could we all relate.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Psalm 23
He was a truly genius, a master for all the 80s teen movies, Seth Rogen and Appatow are on the way to making movies for teenagers as Hughes but, man, the 80s was magic for teens and Hughes the magician.
A funny, entertaining tribute all the more poignant now that he's gone. All this talent in one tribute film just goes to show the number of people who loved and admired him... R.I.P. John Hughes. You were an icon and the voice of a generation. You will be missed.

John Hughes should've gotten a Golden Globe or an Oscar for some of his work.
