  • whats the song called which runs from 6:00 to 6:39?

  • What a loss! :(

  • John Hughes should've gotten a Golden Globe or an Oscar for some of his work.

  • YO, WHAT AM I DOING IN HERE?!

  • i think there should be a national holiday in memorial every year :)

  • What was that movie at 4:12 ?

  • Some Kind of Wonderful (1987)

  • Most of his films are classics -- especially the ones from the 80s - he was simply the best.

  • This is really good.

  • All of his movies are fantastic!!!!

  • NUKE THE FRENCH. And steal their cheese.

  • je dois être le seul français à avoir vécu sous l'influence des films de john huges

mais comme le dit un des commentaires anglais "you we re one of a kind"

c'etait un grand réalisateur mais peu à la mode en France, bel hommage que sex academy

  • I have cried at almost every tribute. Hughes was unique talent.

  • They better give this man some extra time at next years Academy Awards Memoriaum

  • @Dancing88Mike You dumbass. They gave Hughes a 6 minute tribute at the Oscars

  • @Gilch30 Your a dumbass for responding to a Comment I made a year ago before the Oscars. Dumbass. But thanks for reintroducing me to a comment I made from a year ago that I forgot about Dumbass

  • RIP John. You were one of a kind.

youtube: Ultimate John Hughes Tribute: His Top 5 Scenes

    Soooo nostalgiac right now.

  • thanks to the uploader and, of course to john! this was a great watch.

  • thanks for posting this! I was looking for a decent tribute vid, and here it is. It was made when he was still alive (same for John Candy), and at the top, so that's even better.

  • Thank you John Hughes for everything your work will live on forever as my 12 year old brother wants to watch Ferris Buellr Day Off everyday since he seen it last year

  • Thanks for making this "skinny white kid" laugh and cry in the 80's! The way you poked fun at mainstream middle America was funny and never mean spirited.

  • He tapped into our psyches...even if it was his own. he got it out there. man

    could we all relate.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Psalm 23

  • Thanks for this upload. R.I.P. John. Much too soon.

  • imma miss him..rip my man...

  • RIP and thank you for all the fun times and laughs, the 80's would have been lesser without you

  • Great tribute. Great video. Feels like yesterday

  • He was a truly genius, a master for all the 80s teen movies, Seth Rogen and Appatow are on the way to making movies for teenagers as Hughes but, man, the 80s was magic for teens and Hughes the magician.

  • He will be missed. His works are classics of our time. A down to earth midwestener that hit a cord with all of us...good work.....

  • RIP John Hughes

    You'll Be Missed!

  • R.I.P. Keep making fims in Heaven!

  • He has wrote, directed, and produced some of my favorite movies ever.

  • No words. A part of teenage years is gone and I'm only 20 for god sakes.

  • I still can't believe he's gone... this video is a great honor to an amazing producer. It brought tears to my eyes, thank you for posting.

  • Excellent tribute - he will be missed!

  • A funny, entertaining tribute all the more poignant now that he's gone. All this talent in one tribute film just goes to show the number of people who loved and admired him... R.I.P. John Hughes. You were an icon and the voice of a generation. You will be missed.

  • This is an amazing video for an amazing filmmaker. Bravo. Rest in Peace, John Hughes.
