Conure talks and praises himself

i have the same exact bird (a green cheeked conure) who sounds exactly the same and does the same exact thing. My green cheek has a great personality and it looks like yours does too!

OH1 wow you can really hear him saying pretty bird right? well, I thought that was what he said, ha ha ha my sais his name Pepito and my name Patty and now he is learning to say besito kiss in Spanish, also Pepito loquito (crazy) He talks when he hears my suction machine and he likes Christian music and he can be mean sometimes but others he lets you pet him.

omg my gcc Echo untied the uhhh puffy bed thing and pooped on iyt :/ then it chewed the ladder(now its one ledge lower)umm oh and its working on chewing on the toy with alot of knots and hes chewing off an edge of the water bowl!

Ours knocks things off too, and then watch it fall to the ground. They love it.

Ours birds sometimes get excited over the vacuum :)

Norbert (our GCC in this video) has started calling us by name. When my husband comes home or walks into the room, Norbert yells "Da-da!" and when he wants out of his cage, he yells "Becky!" When he sees our dog, he says "Trixie." It's amazing to me!

Mine prefers knocking my plastic cups off, too. He also likes the plastic tops of shaving foam.

Both of my birds love hanging out in the bathroom. Big mirrors there.

My GCC, Jasper, only says this phrase when I get out of the shower: "You're so cute!" Very ego building!

How cute!!! How old is your conure? Too adorable! My little GCC isn't talking yet but I have hope she will eventually (she's only 8 months old so I'm not expecting miracles lol). :D

Mine will knock ANYTHING off the top of his cage. You put it there, he'll knock it off. Big things can take a while but he'll eventually do it. Fun game! Except when someone puts his full food bowl up there and it goes all over the place. Then out comes the vacuum cleaner, he HATES the vacuum cleaner. With enough protesting he always wins; the vacuum stops goes away again.
