  • NOVA = No Vacation.

  • Hope you are able to get another job. I worked part time for Nova in Tokyo for a year. Definitely not a place to make a career.

  • I always had a five year plan, and was hoping to end on a high note. Oh well, I'm philosophical about it now. I might just slot back into my old career path in software development.

  • 頑張って下さい!

  • 仕事探し頑張ります!

  • I went through a bankruptcy in Osaka 9 years ago. After the bankruptcy of TOZA it took a while to find something, but it worked out. Good luck.

  • When I started looking a little deeper into the Eikaiwa industry I was surprised to find out just how may companies had went bankrupt in the last ten years. Hopefully this crash will pave the way for more transparent and equitable businesses to flourish. Who really needs a big chain Eikaiwa these days anyway? You can learn a language on YouTube!

  • How can you learn a language on YouTube?? Don't be a moron.

  • To quote a Buddhist proverb "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear".

  • And interpreted by a moron, that quote can mean you can learn English on Youtube.

  • Yes, you can read it that way if you like.

  • If you knew anything about Buddhism, you would know that it is not talking about media or talking about learning a skill.

  • OK Toddo31, since you know so much about Buddhism please tell me what you think "it" is talking about.

  • Hopefully Sahashi will resign and commit honorable suicide.

  • Wishful thinking indeed. I would still consider him a dishonourable person though.

  • i just got out of there 2 months ago. best of luck to you.

  • I hope you got your last pay check. If you are still having trouble, message me and I can help you out.

  • mate...u have done enough for this company...!!!it's time for you to move on..you have prove to the public that u are a loyal and high quality employee..so good luck with you..you ur 4 years of teaching experience...u will go far!!

  • Thanks for the encouragement habiebiee! I have a couple of small projects that are starting to bear fruit. Watch this space!

  • I hope everything works out for you. Good luck.

  • Things are looking up PJ, I've got a couple of privates lined up and I'm looking around for work I want to do. The best thing about this all of this is spending more time with my family.

  • I can tell you're a TI. It must be hard after 4 years for this to happen, and so suddenly. Hopefully Sahashi will get us the money from those 2 companies for next week.

  • It's a real blessing in disguise. I had to move on, and this is just the kick in the pants I needed.
