@sikskater2 I always make sure that the collar is not tight. It's actually pretty loose that if I pull, it'll just come off. It's just there for identification purposes.

be careful, that hoarse bark could mean your dog has trachea problems. My pomeranian died this past mother's day of a collapsing trachea along with an enlarged heart. Get your dog checked at the vet if they're sounding like they wheeze when they bark! We caught it early, got her on meds, and she lived an extra two years because of it.

I am aware of that problem. It's very common in pomeranians. I've had the vet check him multiple times for the wheezing and huffing issue. But I'll keep monitoring him. Thanks.

@curly0504 My pomeranian coughs and hacks a lot. never when he barks, just when he is out of breathe or something. We thought it was heartworms, but it isnt, and now we are assuming he may just have asthma, he is 7 yrs old
