The title of the aria is actually known as "Ch'io mi scordi di te" and is actually more performed as a concert aria than as part of Idomeneo : Beuron is fine here, not like in his first aria "Non ho colpa"
About Beuron, in the complete video he sings as beautifully as he can, except for the first aria. That's the risk of LIVE.
This "Scena con rondo" (KV 490) was written to be inserted in the opera, and it starts with the dialogue between Ilia and Idamante. Love it. Don't know if it was performed separately at Mozar's time (there's KV 505 also), but just found out there's a recording by my beloved Kiri Te Kanawa.
Ch'io mi scordi di te, actually is the name of the recitative!
Non temer amato bene, is aria's name!
Never knew it could be sang by a tenor!
Great version!
