My choir is in this this year! We've been going every year backstage and stuff but this is way better. I'm so excited. We just found out that we got in last night at our first concert.
OMG i just started looking over the music for this yesterday. We have two months to get ready to do candle light procession and looking at all these videos i just realized how scary this will be. I hope i can do it. any one have any tips other drink lots of tea??
I know this is a REALLY late response, but, I'm only familiar with the Candlelight in Epcot. The thing I did was breath before to calm my nerves, Not considering it was my first time last year. In case you froget words, Mouth the word "WaterMelon" until you know the words again, It helped with me. Last thing is: Just Have Fun. It's a "Once-in-a-lifetime" chance to sing in this without being a "Cast Member". Hope this helps or did help and hope you had fun. I really want to see this one too.
I'm not sure exactly. I've never performed in it. But I'm not sure if they accept individual people, because I've only heard of groups sending in audition tapes to get in. I do know however there are high school students up there singing with their choirs.
@animekiti4christ I was actually up there on this date with my high schools chorus class. No, they don't accept individuals, only groups. We worked for months to perfect our audition tapes!
I performed at Canldelight yesterday and it was an amazing experience. It was truly a pleasure to surround myself with such wonderful singers and it will probably be something i'll never forget
It was amazing yesterday. i cried too! i have some very short clips from it that i will be posting soon. i had a little bit of trouble with my camera because i kept running out of memory, so the clips are a little weird.
oh gee i cannot remember if i went the second or third this year
but i loved it...i was a first alto and i wonder if my high school made it this year [john w. north high from riverside] but we were the kids that wore not exactly royal blue but they were a brighter blue robes
the audition schools and other choirs. The tree is made up of the Disney Employee Choir - I used to be part of the tree! :o)
