It is SO fast at the beginning that it's almost terrifying to the listening -— we're expecting the performance to derail but the pianist holds this together. It would actually make the listener feel more comfortable if the tempo came down two or three notches.

I *do* appreciate being able to watch the score during the performance. :-)

I so want to immediate like everything busoni wrote -contemp music ain;t like that though Berg sonata got me at first hearing andwebern var.anyway i'll kep coming back because this man's letters ,personality and way with Bach say something about a great musico personality.the silences inthew ciacconna tell me it wil grow on me.this pianist wow is he got the smarts and musicality and def the technique.His sense of rhythm struck me immediately!!!
