Ladies and Gentlemen...now right about this period in time, Frank bored the hell out of me. Shut up and play your guitar. Voter registration, running for president. It seemed that the music suffered for all of his political activism. The bands got younger, and more plastic sounding. The music was losing all the polyrhythmic, polymetrical stuff (relying on synthesizers, rather than horns). The lyrics became more sophomoric sexually and less intriguing.
