true "feminine" brains are diverse and symetrical... in many cases it is the women that are not in touch with their feminine dieties... they are more "masculine" in their heads, with analysis, thinking, worrying, and doing... and men embracing that right side whole heartidly and naturally... based on gut emotions, feelings, just "being" and experiencing, feeling, percieving whats going on around them and in front of them. Again! a lot of what we were taught or know is backwards!

there is analysis and computation, a lot of analysis is happens on the left, and to complicate things further, on some people the sides are reversed. this is why brain surgeons have to do many surgeries while patients are conscious to make sure they got the right wiring!

there is even misconception that the left side is responsible for mathmatical computations, but that is not the case... its on the right side... as well as music and kinestetic activities.

I find it interesting that you call it right brain creativity as being female... because in reality it is men's brains that are generally thicker and more dense on the right hemisphere. Women are more diverse and symetrical. A lot of people have misconceptions about what each side does and have them reversed! For that matter neuroscientists truely do not know everything themselves.

why would you want either side of the brain to be dominant. why dont you say something about balance of the two. if it wasnt for the left side, you probably wouldnt have your washing machines and SUVs you dopey women can barely figure out cuz of your over dependance of the right brain. women generally dont prefer to be very logical and are always thinking emotively. a balance is required.

I am glad that you are niether,but I would not have held it against you if you were either. Everybody's got to be something/nothing. which would mean you would know something that I dont. the Cathers were pretty cool. I like the videos and the philosophy,re,right/left brain and truly think you are on to something. However I am reluctant to enthuse over catholicism and free masonry. Two organisations you champion on your site. Especially the former who I reguard as extremely Partriarchal. Just look at the witch burnings. As to the latter as to what their up to is anyones guess. Thank you for your comments. What I attempt to champion is right brain creative conscoiusness, wherever it may occur. In fact, those with which I identify were the ones burned at the stake, such as the Cathars. What is important about Cathlolicism is the recognition of feminine diety, symbol of creative consciousness. I am neither a Catholic nor a Mason, or anything else for that matter---I am a free thinker, and therefore have no institutional home.

That's a good point. In a similar symbollic representation of the two polarities, I have found stories in which a woman and a serpent are at odds, though I prefer the story of their communion in the garden.

I hand't considered the snake/sword symbolism, I was thinking more of the Japanese Martial Arts tradition; in Japanese, the word for 'sword' also means 'soul'. A Samuria might say that an enemy would never defeat his sword, meaning not that he was a better fighter, but that his spirit would prevail.
