I dream about the night mare movies often. Freddys always trin to kill me. My dream sequence is always nightmare 3. I find that this nightmare (part 3 the dream warriors) has the most relatable characters of any of the nightmares.

@may301985 It was most likely drugs. I mean, Taryn is a former drug addict so using drugs would be more frightening to her than poison. It's a movie, so of course it isn't going to follow the laws of reality to a key, so just because her veins went liked that doesn't mean it was poison. In fact, originally her head was supposed to explode but they couldn't get the dummy's head to explode, only the eyes.

@divad838 I think it's suppose to be Methamphetamines (aka Crystal Meth) not Heroin.

This movie was made in the 80's when crystal meth was not nearly as popular as heroin and meth while being injectable is generally smoked I think the writers intended heroin since it is the most obvious and to avoid confusion. Not to mention that neither drug is blue. Also, heroin is much more popular among the punk rock genre that her character is portraying.

@divad838 Yeah but there was a mention of her being a Meth addicted. The Orderly (the one thats not Lawrence Fishburn) was harassing Taryn White after she came out of the showers about having the keys to her room and bugged her about wanting to go out for Meth.
