  • Nice remembers!!! Awesome music!!! Thanks a lot for this clip!

  • I knew there was a reason why I though of Disney when heard "Heart of Rock in Roll"

  • I use to stay up sooo late when I was little at midnight they use to put Vault Disney on. This stuff was the best. I am sure Walt Disney is turning around in his grave because of all of the shit that is on now.

  • God bless you for posting this. Just the other day my sister and I were talking about this disney special!

Thanks brought back some great memories

  • I liked the Merlin and the fat, ugly squirrel

  • sleeping beauty's prince was a smooth one ;) so cut how he snuch up on her & then his...we've met in your dreams ...nice. ;)

  • I can't watch that scene Sword in the Stone without crying!

  • When I was a kid, I always thought it was strange for her to be scared of the Prince, because he was a Prince in love with her after all.

Now that I'm old(er), I think it's strange she would hold hands with some man who just snuck up on her in the woods! XD

  • Love these DTV shows I still have all of them on VHS but the quality isn't very good anymore :( Why arent these on DVD????

  • sleeping beauty is MY FAVORITE.

  • Sleeping Beauty is my favorite fairy tale and Disney movie. I might read the book tonight before going to sleep. Maybe I'll watch the movie sometime. I like to pretend I'm in it.

  • When I was a baby my parents used to put 'Once Upon A Dream' on and rock me to it 'cause it used to help me sleep! I've grown up with the Disney classics and that is one of my favourites because of that. I wanted to be called Aurora too! Lmao.

  • LOL I cracked up seeing Von Drake rocking out @ 5:36 XD

  • That squirrel part always makes me teary-eyed. lol

  • the greatest force on earth :)

  • At 7:24, that clip is "El Gaucho Goofy" from the 1943 movie Saludos Amigos

  • 7:00 That guy Looks Like Mark Henry off of ECW

  • I love the 'Heart of Rock and Roll' bit, I always remember watching it when I was a kid, I'm 21 and Disney was great growing up. Thanks for posting!

  • lol I love her face at 3:43 shes like WTF?!? STOP!!! haha

  • Was 4:29-4:39 the footage reused on DSAS: Circle of Life?

  • I always had an after thought about the girl squirrel in Sword in the Stone: WHY COULDN'T SHE BE CHANGE INTO A HUMAN WHEN ARTHUR WAS?! that way it wouldn't have been so sad!

  • Because then she'd just be some crazy, feral human, running around on all fours and speaking gibberish.

  • LOL that's true! point taken! ^_^

  • Well couldn't she have been changed into a human and been able to talk English? lol

  • Well, Merlin and Arthur still spoke English and could speak squirrel when they changed, so I think it would be the same the other way around.

I think I may be reading too much into this....

  • @DTVzone Couldn't have put that better myself. May I suggest the Sharon Shinn (I think?) book , "The Shape-Changer's Wife", which takes that premise and gets downright philosophical with it.

  • @JillHill7 Well, if she had, she'd of looked like Alyson Hannigan! That part always made me sad.

  • Sleeping Beauty

    Its so romantic!!

  • That part of "Sword in the Stone" with the squirrel always made me cry.

  • In the song line of Heart of Rock and Roll "and for what I've seen I believe in" was the footage from Toot, Whistle, Plunk, and Boom, from 1953?

  • Yes it was, ItsTodMan and it's now covering the entire screen, originally seen in CinemaScope.

  • I always felt sorry for the girl squirrel in 'Sword in the Stone.'

  • @SasatheShy Me too. :(

  • oh man im 25 and i remember watching this with my sister on VHS sooo many times, i think my parents have the tape somewhere but i bet there are plenty of parts that are soo worn out from rewinding so many times... haha wow memories

  • wasn't "good love" after "someday my prince will come"?, 'cause i know it's there.

  • i remembered watching this when i was a 3, my parents recorded half of it, from "there is an angel" to "good love."

  • man i miss dtv so much nedd to bring it back now

  • why wasn't i born in the 80's?? WHY GOD WHY!? why did i have to be born in 1993??!!?? if i had been born in the eighties i wouldn't have missed the 50th birthday of my hero, Donald Duck! woe is me! well atleast i was born for the disney christmas specials and for quack pack

  • You have my sincerest sympathies

  • I understand the sentiment.

I too, am a child of the 93s. None the less, thanks to the internet, I'm capable of watching wonderful cartoons from prior to my birth.

  • cayetanini, I was born in the same year you were! November 11, 1993.

  • But I wish I was born on November 1, 1991, not in the 80's.

  • @cayetanini lmao quack pack lololol. hey i have a bro made in 1994. he just watches ol disney stuff like crazy to make up for 14yrs.

  • that squirell clip made me cry it was soooo sad (:_(

  • Oh wow. The "Heart of Rock and Roll" thing was something I watched when I was really litte. I barely remember it! (It was a rerun of the DTV Romancin' thing though. I wasn't around in the 80s. D:)

  • You poor kid, everyone should have experienced the 80s.

  • You said it, DTVzone.

  • DTV: Indeed. Both the 80's & the 90's before Eisner screwed up Disney, before animes like Yu-Gi-Oh & Pokemon dropped the boom on traditional western animation (respectively on FOX & the WB!), before a certain Sponge took over Nick, before Elmo went corporate, and before 4Kids began to swallow--and then ruin--everything it could get its slimy tentacles on rocked!

  • @DTVzone I was born in 1989-havent see nothing special,though...

  • Poor little squirrel!
