  • I prefer the Hall and Oates version

  • "In time we'll see who lasts

    In time you will disappear"

  • the riff is sick * ___*

  • Was the letter T in their logo ever supposed to be an inverted cross? Just curious cause alot of bands do that.

  • @ausaman15 Yes, it was supposed to be an inverted cross but after that album Chuck changed it for a regular T because he didn't want the band to be tied to Satanism.

  • @guitardude901 thanks for the info

  • @guitardude901 Anti-Christian isn't satanic.

  • Comment removed

  • @ChuckSchuldinerRIP0 So ? Chuck didn't want people to think his band was satanic so that's we got that inverted cross out of the logo. The inverted cross is mostly used by satanist...

  • 0 dislikes woooooooot

  • This song kick ass!!!!

  • Favorite song off the album

  • 2:49 Metal-reggaeton?

  • @DeathLeaves LOL I though the same.

Also Sodom's jabba the hut although it alternates between "quarter notes" and the dotted reggeaton rhythm that is the only fucking rhythm used in reggaeton haha.

  • @DeathLeaves hahahahahhahhahhahha!!!!!!! LOL

  • no shit dude everyone smokes weed, ofcourse chuck did

  • I feel bad, I dont have this album :\

  • @guitardude901 go and buy it homes !

  • @rappsychopath o.O What a coincidence, I just came back from my CD store and bought the reissue hahaha. Ahhhhh Yeah.

  • @guitardude901 just picked it up man is it awesome! its the remastered version. also comes with a second disc "Live in Germany" It's my first DEATH album and it was quite the experience seeing a DEATH CD for the first time right in front of me and purchasing it, playing it on the ride back and hearing the songs how they were supposed to be and in the correct order, I'll own them all in time! Let the metal flow! :)

  • @182cjr Awesome man !

  • @182cjr high five ;)

  • @guitardude901 mwahahaha, guess who have it! ^^

  • happy birthday chuck

  • 14. What was the hardest drug you have ever taken?

I've tripped several times. That´s all because I don´t like the hard drugs. And my only drugs are alcohol and grass.

  • @iliketofrolic666 Chuck said that

  • @iliketofrolic666 I've tripped on grass before. But I suspect the guy I got it from might've sneaked something into hoping I'd get hooked.

    Moral of story:

Buy it from someone you know well, or grow your own.

  • @iliketofrolic666 alcohol is harder than many shits

  • My favorite death album! \m/ funny how I'm the only known metalhead in my town in a band who's straightedge in band and not need pot or any drug to be creative. I think mustaine used drugs to make riffs n such but all I need is metal! \m/ goodness this album keeps astonishing me!

  • @09mrhardabs Hey man don't knock things you haven't tried. The psychedelics are great for deep thought, mindful meditation, creative thinking, etc.

  • @iliketofrolic666 Eh I think Id come up with nonsense if I were to be on something besides I'm satisfied with what a create n my band members seem to be blown away everytime I show them new material. If ur asking me what I've tripped out on the most the answer is I never have idk Id just rather not start

  • @iliketofrolic666 Why would you need psychedelics for deep thought, creative thinking, and meditation? Is the simple human mind not enough? I can slip into a deep zone with absolutely no interruption from the outside world just by listening to Death.

  • @Demonman26 have you done any "psychedelics"?

  • @09mrhardabs Just reading your comment...we can tell you are straightedge.

  • @LordOFThisWorld19 U are good... u are very good.

  • sooooooo smoooooooooooth it's unbelieeable.....fuckallyahaters!!!!!!!

  • I didn't know Chuck smoked weed. Is that true?

Also, I thought that this song spoke about the death metal genre and the lyricists who solely wrote gore lyrics. In my opinion, this is chuck calling them out to write deeper shit. but that's just me, I'm on the bong all the time too, so read into it how ever you want. There's no set meaning to anything.

  • @TP2010 yes it buddy the father of death metal loved to get stoned haha but then again who doesnt

  • Soooo fucking jazz :DDDDDD

  • SIIIIICKKK SHIIIIT

  • @TheMattTrivium Who is lying?

    RIP Chuck

  • This song is about drugs. I know it is, extreme drugs though, cause chuck blazed it all the time.

  • @MetalMurchentOfDeath Really? Where did you get that info from?

In my personal opinion I always thought it was about people being out of touch to the mainstream bullshit being forced upon us

  • @Destroyer666AU I just thought that, i guess you don't smoke as much weed as I.

    R.I.P Chuck

    and Destroyer 666 is awsome.

  • @MetalMurchentOfDeath used to smoke a fair bit, I found out about death when I was 16 getting high =D

but now I have work and a kid on the way, can't keep getting stoned

  • @MetalMurchentOfDeath Lol, ok. Even though Chuck only admitted that he used pot, and that this song is about people who awere jealous of his success, so they had to spread lies to make themselves feel better.

  • My personal favorite track off of this album.

  • FUCKING HOGLAN

  • i find it weird that theres a death video with no comments...RIP chuck

  • Right?
